The MPA program at Baruch College is great. The faculty have direct experience in their fields of instruction, and it's the best program to get the most bang for your buck. It also caters to working individuals like myself.

Pros: Accelerated part-time MBA allows you to graduate within 28 months Central location New York City is easily accessible Professors are mainly working professionals with real career experiences to share Cons: Accelerated program is very time consuming (classes meet during the week and on the weekends) Class availability is not always ideal when registering for the next semester

Baruch has a very affordable MBA program, and it's in a very convenient spot in NYC. Most MBA students are also working, so you have a good mix of backgrounds and perspectives. Most of my professors have been really interesting and engaging, but you really have to watch out for a few bad apples. Overall, it's worth the tuition.

Baruch College offers a great value for students interested in getting their masters. They offer evening and weekend classes to accommodate students that work full-time. Our professors are accomplished in their field of expertise and deliver interesting classes. My classmates are smart, motivated, and bring a diverse mix of experiences into the classroom. I highly recommend the MPA program.

The overall MPA program at Baruch is a superior program that pushes their students to work hard to achieve our academic and professional goals. My professors at Baruch have gone out of their way to help me start formulating my own nonprofit organization, and have given me access to resources and recommendations to guide me through this process. Although the administrators and advisors are not always available to help their students with lack of classes and schedules, I do appreciate their help when they are available. My experience with the faculty, security guards, and even cafeteria assistants has been positive as they are always smiling and willing to help the students. The atmosphere of the school is a lively environment where students are constantly putting their education first. The surrounding area is accommodating to the student body and always put forth a positive attitude. Being a CUNY school, tuition is highly affordable but textbooks, transportation, and traveling essentials make it an expensive school experience. I highly recommend the MPA program to any student who wishes to go into the public or nonprofit sector, but wish they had more classes available for their students.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2013

Flexible class schedules. You could go to work full time and still go to school full time as well. Quite a number of courses are offered in the evening. If however you do prefer day classes, that is also quite possible.
