Student & Graduate Reviews

4.6 out of 5.0
Degree: Architecture
Graduation Year: 2016

Choosing to go to City College for my Master of Architecture degree was the best decision I ever made. There is no better place in the U.S. to study architecture than in New York City. The professors at the school all come from nearby schools such as Columbia, Pratt, Harvard, and Cornell. The program is rigorous, engaging, and embracing future technologies. I made incredible professional connections at this school (not to mention a full-time job) that I know will last throughout my career. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a professional architecture degree at a reasonable cost to the student.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2011

I liked my experience. The faculty is very talented and most professors really are very engaged in helping student's with learning. The placement cell is not the best though, they can really use some driven and experienced individuals to help graduating students with their resumes and guidance on searching for a job as a fresher.

Degree: Chemistry
Graduation Year: 2012

College is a large campus located in Bronx, New York. Most STEM-related classes limited to certain parts of building, so it's a bit hard to give a full review of the college in general. I do feel that the education I received there was okay, but might not be ideal if you are looking for a college where the student-teacher ratio is not so large.

Degree: Accounting
Graduation Year: 2013

Is a good university that cares about its students and with a broad professional career

Degree: Computer Science
Graduation Year: 2013

Getting an MS in Computer Science from CCNY is quite challenging so you need to make sure that for the 3 0 credits you pick the right faculty and classes because some of the teachers make it significantly harder than others to get a good grade.

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2006

A great place to learn academically and culturally as you'll encounter many different people from many different countries

Degree: History
Graduation Year: 2015

I enjoyed it and made actually friends. I was focused in undergraduate but in Graduate school individuals build more meaningful bonds.

Degree: Communications
Graduation Year: 2018

An amazing masters program that is different from other "marketing" masters that are offered in NYC. The program is also far more affordable than similar ones at private institutions. The program advisers also do a good job of trying to understand your career goals and where you see yourself while in the program/post graduation.

Degree: Chemistry
Graduation Year: 2017

City College is a school with great history. The diversity of the students makes it more inviting than many other colleges in the area. Great opportunity for those students that plan to do research during their undergraduate years. City College has a huge research program with opportunities in many different fields.
