It was a great experience, in small classes with caring faculty.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

The graduate program is extremely competitive as well as empowering. Daemen college enables students to get the most out of the physical therapy program. The campus is very small which may be considered a pro or con for some students.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2016

Pros: The program has a 100% boards passing rate, therefore properly prepares students. The teachers are remarkable, the facilities are very helpful, and the program places students in very helpful internships. Cons: The graduate program is expensive, and can sometimes be overlooked by the school as a whole.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

The program is fairly competitive and the first year is a very heavy work load, but the faculty is fantastic and always willing to help students get the most of their education.

Graduation Year: 2014

Pros- Daemen College is a very small college where professors are always available, classes are small, and education is of the best quality. Daemen College has a 99% pass rate on the National Physical Therapy board exam. Cons- Small school with not as many opportunities for extracurricular activities or clubs that are available at larger colleges and universities. There is also not a lot of affordable on-campus housing.

I have looked for a very long time for an NP program that will fit my neeed. Daemen is a very good college and it is accredited. I live 2 hours away and I travel once a week to classes. So some of the ratings I could not comment on. I signed up for a hybrid class that was to be a hybrid half online & half classroom, and it has turned out to be primarily classroom, this was disappointing to me. The class itself is taught by an experienced FNP, which is great. She is able to connect content with application of the info she is teaching. The class work is challengeing and does require one to study and learn the info, which is good, if I am going to be diagnosising and treating illnesses than it is important I know the info. I do not just want the piece of paper that I have an NP, I want to be able to use it. I attend the class at night so I am able to still work full-time days, which is a huge component to me being able to return toschool for my Masters.

I really feel like I am receiving a top-notch education here with a low cost tuition. The professors are helpful and available for consultations.
