"I went to school at the downtown Chicago Satellite campus, and I really enjoyed it. It was very convenient for me to go to school at night after I was done working. I made some good friends that are still friends today. The teachers were great, and the students were committed. I thought the degree was worth the price of tuition."

"DePaul University's communication program offers many courses that can provide insight into journalism as a career. The career center also provides assistance with resumes and offer programs that assist with networking. Resources are available if you are able to take advantage of them."

"DePaul University is a great business school, located near the business district in the city of Chicago. The school itself is not difficult to get into, and I think that takes away from the reputation it carries. Nonetheless, the classes, the location, the professors, and the students are all huge motivators for success. The classes are challenging and engaging, the location is inspiring and alive, the professors teach you real-life material using their own experiences, and the students all have a common understanding and goal to succeed in the business world. The MBA program is a great one, one that I believe is comparable to some of the best schools in the nation. The knowledge transferred from my professors to me as a student was invaluable, I truly feel like I am a stronger businessman coming out of there. My confidence, technical skills, communication skills, negotiation skills, among many others have improved substantially and I catch myself using much of the knowledge I acquired from my classes in my everyday life. All in all, I highly recommend DePaul University's graduate school to anyone looking to further their knowledge in one of the biggest industries in the world, increase their potential in the business environment, and build a strong network."

"DePaul University has provided me the opportunity to gain among the most intellectually stimulating, diverse, and inherently robust educational experience as both an Undergraduate and Graduate student, with the entirety of the Chicago-land area as my campus. When I made the decision to transfer Universities as an Undergraduate, DePaul's transfer process was, by far, the most smooth and straight-forward. The support I received from admissions advisors and other transfer students was simply unparalled and upon arrival on my first day of orientation, I was taken by the ambiance and general charm of the DePaul community. The classroom sizes were small enough so that we were able to receive direct support from our professors, but large enough so classroom debates were often perpetuated by a variety of different perspectives. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I decided to pursue an MS in Economics and Policy Analysis (MSEPA). DePaul is one of the few Universities in Chicago that offers a joint BA/BS + MS degree program with professors that have firsthand experience in the careers that many of us students aspire to have post-graduation. Academically, we were introduced to not only theoretical aspects, but also the practicality of those theories that helped us gain skills that can easily be transferrable to a wide array of jobs. With both the DePaul Community and the Chicago area as our basis of networking, being recruited for highly competitive positions is also common among my peers. The MSEPA program is exceptional, in that it sponsors an annual trip to D.C to meet and learn from many different Staffers, Economists, Accountants, Consultants, and Policy Makers, several of which graduated from the same program in prior years. Overall, the experience I gained at DePaul and in the MSEPA program has changed my life and opened the doors to a wide range of possibilities. The opportunity to learn and grow in an academically rigorous, supportive, and diverse environment has truly been a remarkable experience and it has empowered me to pursue my ambitions, well beyond words."

"DePaul has been the greatest 3 and a half years of my life. The variety of classes and options available gives students the ability to be in charge of their education. The instructors in the Health Science major are passionate and helpful and rarely let a student out of their sights if they still have questions or any confusion. You gain a ton of connections within your field and so many outside resources are offered that it's hard not to succeed in what you want to do. The one single pitfall is the financial aid department. The problem is that the department is really difficult to get a hold of and to communicate with once you do get someone to finally email you back. I have described problems multiple times to different people in the department and they always just direct me somewhere else, where I'm then forced to explain everything all over again and am usually just redirected again or am given options that I have told them I do not want to pursue (they always recommend just taking out more loans, because that's a great plan)."

"DePaul is fantastic with working with students to make sure that they reach their full potential. The STARS program at DePaul is great with ethnic students because it really put the focus on the student and really makes them work to their full potential . Not only that but the counselors are also great because they really push the students to take the classes that will benefit them throughout college."

"DePaul is one of the best universities. This is a right place who are looking for qualitative education. Supportive academic faculty members. Easy steps to get enrolled for international students, in particular, who are studying at English Language Academy. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants to go pursue their education."

"The professors are great, the expectations are clearly communicated, the back office support always has a positive attitude, and the colleagues in the classroom are among the best students in a large global city. I enrolled in an MBA with a concentration in accounting and really wished I had done more in accounting. The college will allow you to add concentration later to your MBA after you graduate. So accommodating. This is one college that is worth every penny."

"I attended DePaul University all four years of my college career and enjoyed it. I am from out of state and moving to Chicago was a big step but I learned to live in a city. The majority of my friends went to state schools and will never get the same experience I got in the city, and for that I am forever grateful."

"DePaul was my dream school. The mission and values set forth by St. Vincent DePaul truly reflects who I am as a citizen and a humanitarian. My experience at DePaul exceed my expectations. The staff is very encouraging and supportive of your educational endeavors. There are many opportunities available at DePaul to aid you in succeeding and accomplishing your goals. I have since completed my Master's degree in Information systems and I studied abroad in Brazil. Currently, I'm working on my third degree from DePaul, the Masters of Art in Educating Adults. In addition, I am also an adjunct faculty member."

"Pros: Amazing faculty. They are accessible and compassionate about student's education and quality of life. Student/Faculty community is unmatched compared to colleagues who attend other law schools. So many organizations to get involved, LARGE facility with so many resources, and students maintain a healthy, friendly, and competitive environment. Name recognition across the country was advantageous when networking out of state. Cons: Legal writing program is utter garbage. The curriculum needs some serious updating and the tenured professors lack personality and inspiration. They are bitter and condescending. This is completely contradictory to ALL the other professors I've taken, whom were charismatic, energetic, and have become mentors in my life. Would like to see more specialized classes in the overall curriculum. Nothing wrong with the classroom sizes now, but I would also like to see less students per class. Though I've never felt unsafe, security in the building lack's personality, motivation, and presence."

"This was a good college, had a great music school. However, I had much better scholarships to other schools that had "good" music programs. I wish I would have done that instead to avoid the student debt I have."

"DePaul is a place that has many opportunities to volunteer and connect with community outside of the university. That said, DePaul is a great community that fosters self-care and support. It is a college in a city that emphasizes the need to get to know the city outside of DePaul. While you feel you are in college, you also feel a sense beyond being just in school."
