"My time at DePaul was a great experience. I really enjoyed having faculty who cared about their students and were willing to help. My faculty and advisors were very helpful at communicating career opportunities and for keeping me on track to graduate. DePaul Central staff are very helpful with financial aid and payment questions. One of my main reasons for choosing DePaul was because of the offered resources. Resources like the Writing Center, SI, and the Library were all offered to help students succeed in the classroom. For example, I received a lot of help from the SI leader in challenging courses like Chemistry and Biology. I am not very happy with the food options offered at the university. The food can be very expensive and lack of variety. There are various volunteer opportunities and leadership opportunities available on campus for students. There are various clubs and student held organizations. In addition, there are now available spaces dedicated to multicultural students. I do not have any experience living on campus since I have been a commuter student during the four years at DePaul. I do enjoy the activities available during midterm and finals week. The university does a good job providing resources and activities for students to de-stress. Overall, I feel very pleased to have been on this campus for the past fours years. I hope to return and enroll in a graduate program. In addition, alumni who return are offered a 25% discount when enrolling in a graduate school program."

"DePaul's degree program was really great because they really focus on opportunity for different cultures and ethnicities. They also teach you a lot about Chicago history and the history of the school, as well as the founder St Vincent De Paul. He was basically an icon to them because he believed in equality and opportunity for anyone and everyone. I loved all of my professors, although of course I had some that I didn't really care for. I would say those professors for my non core classes. My core class professors were absolutely amazing and really helpful. They made sitting in a desk for an hour and a half really fun or interesting. I do, however, not recommend for out of state students because it is incredibly expensive. I am struggling to pay off my student debt right now because of the debt. They gave me some scholarship money for my grades in high school, but it still wasn't enough for me to be okay after graduating."

"DePaul did a great job supporting me throughout my undergraduate experience. It took a minute for me to find my way and simply understand the inter-workings of secondary education. Processes like picking, classes, defining a major was a bit confusing initially. Once I connected with my advisor it was a breeze. Dr Ruth was awesome and very helpful. She also educated me on supportive resources that were available to me. I did my bachelors in 3 years, well really 2.5. I really like how DePauls school for new learning also customizes degrees to your interest. When you are already a professional this flexibility allows you to tailor fit your experience to fit your needs. The great experienced was just limited to a few students, the general feedback from most students was very positive. I was able to take some courses online, some in the downtown area and some in the south suburbs. DePaul did a great job supporting me throughout my undergraduate experience. "Don't do it. The quarter system is horrible for finding internships because you're in school until mid-June and is very stressful. You're living the thankless corporate rat race life while you're in school if you study IT at DePaul. I regret the choice I made, so I'm writing this because maybe I will save someone from getting stuck with the same stressful and not-worth-it experience. Oh, and don't expect all of what you learn to be cutting edge. We had to learn Ruby on Rails and no employer cares about that."

"DePaul University was a very good educational institution for me as their focus on social justice issues helped to prepare me well for a career in social services. The emphasis on helping others which was ingrained in me during my time there helped to shape my worldview in a positive way and give me direction as I sought to identify what I wanted to pursue after graduation."

"DePaul University is a wonderful school with a great focus on networking. I've made so many connections that have aided me in my undergrad and grad school experience. While attending, I had the pleasure of meeting teachers, professors, and faculty members who genuinely care for their students. Also, DePaul emphasizes having a sense of citizenry. That vibe thrives throughout the entire on-campus and online community."

"DePaul has a lot of potential. The problem I believe I had is at the time I went to the school it was acting focused. If you aren't in the acting program you're a bit of a second class citizen. BUT you're respected in the field. Depending on how you utilize your degree you can find yourself in need of a job because of the depth of competition within the arts field."

"The master's certification program at DePaul University prepared me completely for entering elementary teaching! As a second-career educator, the hands-on, practical application of learning was exactly what I needed to be prepared to teach. The lessons were relevant, and courses used high-quality resources written by experts in the fields. Compared to colleagues that graduated from other local universities, I was far more prepared for teaching."

"I enrolled in the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in the fall of 2016 and so far have greatly enjoyed my experience. I have been able to learn from unbelievable professors who truly care about the futures of their students. I have already learned a great deal as the Kellstadt school is built on practice and theory. I have been able to apply lessons learned in the classroom to my current work environment."

"DePaul University's Student College Development Higher Education Program is great for those who want to study and work in student affairs. Not only do you get a counseling background for your base program to know how to work with students from all over when it comes to supporting them. You also get he chance to intern in student affairs your third year before you graduate. You get core psychological counseling knowledge and respect world experience in the student affairs field. DePaul is an excellent choice for those interested in learning how to counsel people, and use it later in a community of students."

"DePaul's game program is absolutely phenomenal. You receive hands on experience creating from the moment you begin the curriculum. The faculty is there to guide you and support you every step of the way and since the program is relatively small you get that individual attention that you deserve. My degree prepared me for a job not only in games, but in the professional world in general. I did not spend my days sitting in a classroom taking tests to regurgitate information but rather worked on a variety of teams where we would solve problems, create art, manage deadlines, and network. I recommend this program through and through."

"Undergraduate studies are more than just about the grades and the "education" is not just about academia - it's about figuring out your place in the world and fostering relationships. By the time you get to graduate studies, and have presumably worked a few years, you can get a little more serious about the "studies" aspect."

"I have been very happy with my courses and professors at DePaul University. While all of the classes have been combined graduate/undergraduate, I have been impressed with the rigor of the classes. The professors are very knowledgeable and show passion for what they are teaching. I have met fellow teachers/pre-teachers who have helped me in my career goals and have made strong connections that I know will last."
