The DEL-MEM program at Duke is an excellent way for working professionals to get back in the classroom without leaving work and family. The faculty and staff are understanding, professional and respectful as well as knowledgeable and with lots of hands on experience. The lack of presence at campus for most of the year makes it feel like I am missing some of the benefits of being there, but leaving work and family is not an option right now. In general the program is wonderful, the people are great and the work load manageable.

DukeMed, beyond it's status as an excellent academic institution, is also a very nurturing, supportive learning environment. The degree of support and enthusiasm received from faculty members is indicative of how they value the students and seek to assist us in our learning and career process; they are always receptive to feedback and seeking improvement. What is most remarkable, however, is the student body: very friendly and social, exceedingly helpful, high performing with [essentially no] gunnering.

Fuqua has provided me with best experience - it's a great school with rigorous program, great classmates and excellent faculty.

My experience at Sanford has left me feeling very prepared for what's to come. I gained critical thinking and communication skills, quantitative analysis skills, and content knowledge. On top of all of that, I have a really strong network of friends here to support my learning and needs.

An excellent program but with faculty who can sometimes overwork or neglect their graduate students

This program has great faculty and students! The requirements are not too intense, so that leaves a good amount of time for research. The cost of living is very low in Durham and there are always a lot of things happening on the weekend. It's a great place to live as a graduate student!

Degree: Nursing

The online component is beneficial to those of us who live far away and can not relocate. The quality of the education is superb, the resources amazing. The con would certainly be the cost of tuition.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2017

The Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at Duke University is fairly new, yet the program already feels remarkably practiced. This is due to the highly qualified staff and faculty members.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2014

The program is generally well-designed, with most of the classes and assignments being valuable, rather than busywork. The faculty are genuinely interested in seeing us succeed, not just in school, but in preparing us for the workplace once school is finished. The program is very intense and one cannot expect to succeed if an extensive social life needs to figure highly in your grad school experience.

The Duke Executive MBA program is making me realize that I'm capable of packing much more into my day than I had ever thought possible. The education and networking experience is invaluable as well.
