Rigorous workload, but amazing and accessible professors, helpful and well-placed alumni, and competition is related only to curves

Really good program. Great networking opportunities. Lots of free events, seminars and talks students can go to. Professors are amazing. Very expensive. Need to make sure that you can afford it. The Career Services is not very organized with keeping records of alums, like where are they working now, how much were they earning etc.

Pros: Great faculty. Great faculty to student ratio. Cons: Crime in Durham. Not near a major city.

Distance learning allows me to schedule my lessons at times convenient to me. Yes, I have a time frame to complete the assignments, but I like the freedom to study at times appropriate to me. Contact with the professors and staff is convenient also. Quick feedback on assignments and grades. At this time, I find not problems associated with the program.

Fuqua is a great business school with great professors. Durham isn't that great.

It is a good program, with very knowledgeable faculty. Facilities are great, and the environment of the city helps a lot to focus on school and develop the social life among the students. As improvements, the level of the courses could be higher, and faculty should use more simulations programs.

Durham has improved dramatically over the years with new restaurants, art galleries and performing arts center. Duke itself is a friendly environment where the faculty is always working to advance the career opportunities of their students
