Degree: Liberal Studies

The Graduate level, Multicultural and Transnational Literature program offered through East Carolina University holds within it, a unique opportunity to thoroughly examine cultures from the inside out. Exploring from a literary perspective gives an insider's view of what a culture holds dear within their history, traditions, and ideologies. Although the work load is rigorous, the ability to complete the entire program online allows the student the ability to immerse themselves in the literature at their leisure.

East Carolina University's M.A. in Health Communication program has prepared me for my future career in the health field. In this program, I have learned how to become a better communicator and create efficient health campaigns. I have grown so much since beginning my undergraduate journey at East Carolina. I knew this was the college for me to further my education because the professors were so helpful and encouraged me to be successful. I will be forever grateful to the university that helped me achieve my dream of being not only the first person in my family to go to college, but also to achieve my bachelor's and master's degree!

Love the courses! The program was great and worked well with my being a full-time mom and employed as a teacher. I couldn't have asked for it to be any better. If anyone was interested in pursuing their Master's degree, then I would recommend the online program through ECU.

I thought East Carolina University was a great college. For students looking for a great experience look no further than East Carolina. East Carolina offers a wide array of on campus activities to make any feel involved. Not to mention, the town of Greenville North Carolina provides a one of a kind college town experience.

I took many online classes. I was well prepared due to my undergrad work. Taking the distance education tests on campus was not always easy, but they did offer several options, which was nice.

I am currently working on my Master's in English, Multicultural and Transnational Literatures through their all-inclusive online degree. The professors are extraordinary, go out of their way to prepare future scholars, and instill a sense of commitment to the field. The coursework pertains to an array of transnational and multicultural literatures and is ideal for anyone looking to further their careers in the fields of education, cultural studies, literature, and more. I highly recommend this online program, which affords students the flexibility to earn a degree while working full-time.

The advising staff is excellent! I received assistance every step of the way. I'm a military spouse, so distance learning is important for me, and they set my mind at ease. Even if my husband gets stationed other places during the course of my education, I know they are here to help. My excitement and passion for the Master's degree I'm seeking continues to be ignited at ECU! I highly recommend ECU for your graduate degree!

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2018

I am currently in my first year of my Master's pursuit. So far, the curriculum focuses on the four field approach to obtain a wider understanding of Anthropology before committing to a specialty. The program is rigorous but the faculty and advisers are fair and knowledgeable.
