College is a great time to discover what you love doing and learn about being independent and responsible.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2012

I feel that many students waste their time with college and only go because it is expected of them. Don't go to college for a $40,000+ degree because of pressure. Look at the job markets available and pick something that has career growth and will interest you. Make sure that whatever degree you have is applicable in real life. If you don't know what you want to do or don't feel you could make money after graduating, either reevaluate your options or don't go to college.

Beautiful campus, great selection of courses, good professors. It's a state college, so cheaper than private, but that in no way impacted the education I received there. I had a great experience.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 1997

I received a Master Degree in Biology. The program was excellent! The teachers were incredible! They were extremely knowledgeable in their respective fields. My major advisor, who I did research under, was probably one of the most brilliant men I've ever met. Not only that, he, as well as the other professors, were personable, kind, understanding educators. I always felt comfortable in their presence, and knew I was getting an amazing education. I always wanted to be a professor, and became an adjunct professor at the age of 26. I am now in my mid-40's, and am still a professor... LOVING every minute of it! I also took graduate-level education classes at ESU, and I credit my teaching, curriculum-writing, syllabus-writing, etc ability/skills to the education I got here. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this school!

East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania Graduate College offers an excellent quality of instruction. As graduate student you benefit from a small size classroom which help you to build a relationship with your professors. They also have a lot graduate student worker and graduate assistantship to offer.

Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2017

The Political Science Department at East Stroudsburg University is pretty small and it is a better way to get to know your professors. Advisers as well as professors are really easy to meet and always available after or before classes.

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2014

I loved my graduate program. All of the professors were extremely helpful especially when I felt like I was in over my head. I was to discuss different ideas and concerns openly with them. The faculty went above and beyond to ensure I had everything needed to succeed both educational and professionally. I graduated a year ago and they still reach out to me for updates and to offer assistance if needed. The program was completely hands-on with very little use of textbooks. There was heavy technology use but the faculty was understanding and considerate of the various demographics of the students.

Degree: Fitness Trainer
Graduation Year: 2016

This graduate program is competitive and provides access to many cutting edge resources as well as hands-on experience. It is a 13 month program, but you are provided with a variety of classes to give you a well-rounded education beyond what you received as an undergraduate. It is however expensive and this is not always communicated well.

ESU is a good value for your money and have an excellent program and long tradition of educating teachers. I feel I am learning a great deal to improve my teaching.

Unfortunately I am only able to go off of 1 class. The professor wasn't available during office hours and we never received or work back on time so it was hard to access how you were doing in the class.
