Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2018

The program at ENMU is a hybrid program that allows for distance learning while still requiring semesters in campus. The curriculum is modified to include courses not offered by other universities and the program and clinic director take care of you

Degree: Speech Pathology
Graduation Year: 2018

I wish more people applied to ENMU's Communication Disorders graduate program because you can take the courses on campus and online. The program is flexible because you can go full time or part time. I highly recommend my graduate program because they are preparing me to become the best speech pathologist I can be.

Degree: Secondary Education
Graduation Year: 2017

I feel that Eastern New Mexico University has a very strong academic community. I am an online student and do not access everything that the campus has to offer. Their support network has assisted me in selecting a graduate program. I am in the beginning year of that program and will be able to provide more accurate feedback once I have completed my degree. Based on the assistance I have received from them to complete my Bachelor's degree, I have stayed within the ENMU family because of their efforts to assist their students. One area that needs progression is communication within the departments.

Degree: Business Administration

eastern new mexico university has great online graduate programs that allow the flexibility that a working mother of three must have in order to be successful. I highly recommend eastern as a graduate school for anyone looking to earn their masters in educational administration. Tuition is reasonable, and professors are excellent.

My grad school's program challenges students to expand their level of thinking, while the program is small it is very competitive!

Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2017

I feel that this program, while unattractive because it is in a very rural part of New Mexico, is a gem. The staff (while intimidating) are extremely helpful. The program supports their students in many ways, although students to have a lot of responsibility. I don't think there is a very strong sense of community here, but that may come with time. I find it difficult to meet and connect with others in my program. I feel that the program really gears its students toward success.

The Graduate online program at Eastern New Mexico University is an excellent way in which non-traditional students can further their educational experience. The educators are easily accessible and willing to help 100%. I could not be happier with my experiences at ENMU!

Degree: Chemistry
Graduation Year: 2015

ENMU is an extremely affordable University, which is the main reason I chose to get a master's here. The Chemistry program is extremely small (less than 10 students), so you get to know your professors very well. The size has its disadvantages though - there are only five chemistry-specific professors, so upper division chemistry classes are limited. Also, though we have funding for research, it's not a sum comparable to top research universities. ENMU is located in Portales, NM, which is a town with a population around 17,000. If you want to go to a mall or the movies, you have to travel 20 miles to Clovis, NM, and public transpiration is almost non-existent. For me, the small class size, intense professor interaction, and affordability make up for the lack of variety in upper level courses, limited funding, and few things to do.

The professors are amazing and are willing to help you succeed. The classes are challenging but fun and the students are friendly.
