Degree: Communications (Speech Pathology)
Graduation Year: 2016

PROS: At Edinboro University I do not feel like just a number. The professors care about you. I am still in my first semester, but thus far most of my classes have been very informative. My peers in Speech-Language Pathology are excellent students and people. I feel that the campus is safe and I can be myself. CONS: There is one class that is quite unorganized and can be a bit frustrating. Also, while classes are clear, at time, project expectations can be difficult to understand.

Pros is that it is totally online and I like personal interactions; cons - at the same time the online program gives me lots of freedom to do my work when and where I can.

The Educational Psychology online program through Edinboro University is challenging but rewarding. I have learned a lot. The professors are supportive, helpful, and easy to reach. The classwork is fairly easy to fit into my busy schedule.

I am at the start of my graduate program at Edinboro but I attended the university for my undergrad and many things brought me back. Edinboro's faculty is readily accessible and willing to help and support you. They have numerous online programs and that's the highlight of the Art Therapy graduate program. There are very few in the country, even fewer that can be completed online. This is a growing field with a high need and the school provides an affordable program that is flexible for working individuals. Even to the point where your internship can be worked into your current career. They will also help you find placements for your internship and in the Erie area there are a plethora of organizations. The cons are that if you are trying to enter this field from another major background, you will need to earn studio credits from another school before attending if you work during the day. The school doesn't offer online studio courses and currently only one in the summer. Honestly, though, it's worth it. Edinboro is a great school with diversity and options that are hard to find elsewhere.

Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2010

It is known for being a teaching school. I also really like that the program is offered completely online as I am currently employed as a teacher. It works well with my schedule and allows me to have time to do both effectively. Financial Aid is very helpful in finding the funds you need.

I am online student. The professors are extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. Each unit within the classes has a time frame so you can work at your pace on your own time.

Degree: Social Work

I feel the school and program is competitive but also small enough that you receive personal attention when needed.

Edinboro has been a great school so far, with an excellent MSW program. The teachers are professional yet personal, and are very knowledgeable, yet approachable. The education I am getting is wonderful and the tuition is cheaper then most other universities. I am taking my classes online in another state, but feel as if I am getting the help I need in all my classes from the teachers. The cons have to do more with the administration and departments not working together then the classroom education. I think most universities have a complicated set of rules about who to talk to about financial vs other issues, but they don't communicate well across departments. Other then that I have been very pleased with the program.
