Embry-Riddle is the go to school for aeronautical and aerospace education. For anyone interested in a career in the aviation or space industry their courses are well respected in the field worldwide. The courses are challenging and encourage critical thinking skills. The only con might be most people outside the industry do not understand the highly technical nature of thier degree programs.

The graduate program is well-suited for my career goals. I plan on expanding myself towards a career in aviation. My pursue in the Masters of Aeronautical Science will make my dreams come true in being the first generation student in my family to accomplish a Graduate program in the United States. I am seeking my professional career in Safety Systems and Aerospace/Aviation Management and this is exactly what I need. I see no cons in the graduate program except for the financial needs of me attending school and supporting my family of five children.

Degree: Project Management
Graduation Year: 2015

Project Managers are emerging as the MBAs of the new generation. Companies are increasingly utilizing project management processes in their activities and the need for professionals with this background is growing. The graduate program Embry-Riddle offers prepares the student to transition from their technical careers to managerial and decision making positions. At the halfway point in my program, I have already learned several of the methodologies and techniques that drive the projects I am used to working on.

Degree: Liberal Studies
Graduation Year: 2015

My graduate program has all the required staff, technology, body of knowledge, and technical structures to make a student receive the quality of education however cost is a concern for most students (including me). Because it is a private school it depends 100% on student tuition to run the school and that is extremely burdensome to students and for some, their parents.

The graduate program is very flexible for full time working students. It allows you to take courses online, through eagle vision or in class. The cons is it is a bit expensive compared to other graduate programs. But worth the extra dollars for a solid education.

Degree: Project Management
Graduation Year: 2015

The Master of Project Management program has so far been rewarding and challenging. The major pro of this degree is the fact that it is offered 100% online through a mix of web-based and remote-classroom formats. The professors guide discussions and research in keeping with the course objectives and this allows the student to absorb the knowledge thoughtfully.

Embry-Riddle is a great school for those seeking careers in the aviation industry. The classes are taught by professors that are still very active in the field and can provide a wealth of real world experience to add to the curriculum. The cost of attendance is the only pitfall. I attended a different school to complete my undergraduate degree elsewhere, but now that I am employed and have the means to pay for classes, I am pursuing my graduate studies at ERAU.

Degree: Project Management
Graduation Year: 2015

The Master of Science in Project Management at Embry-Riddle Worldwide Campus has been an amazing experience so far. I am an industry professional who was looking for a way to better my career and growth options. The designated course progression and workload are in line with the industry practices and I can get a sense of growth in my work with each class that I take; there is always something new I can apply. This is my first completely online program and I have taken both "virtual classroom" and the more traditional non-classroom online classes. Both have their advantages and disadvantages for workload, course immersion and availability, however I do not usually find it a conflict of schedule no matter which I choose. I would say that I prefer the virtual classroom courses even though it is a little more schedule restrictive, I find the ability to receive instant feedback and live interaction greatly enhances the learning experience. This method combines the benefits of online and in-residence classes perfectly.

Pro - All the instructors are prompt in responding to inquiries. Eaglevision makes online learning so much simpler. Con - Small facilities with few local instructors since most of the classes are online.
