Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

I am enrolled in the Online MBA program at Florida Atlantic University. The online Canvas software is very clear to understand and has reminders of any assignment deadlines and upcoming assignments. In addition, submitting assignments and watching lectures are also very straightforward. I have never had any issues. Group work and communication between colleagues is also easy. The professors are extremely helpful and understanding with technical issues. The content is challenging but very rewarding.

FAU is a good school they have a nice campus. teachers have all been professional except for some online ones but that's to be expected. the parking enforcement is a little too serious and overpriced make sure you take the extra time to come to class.

Degree: Biomedical Sciences
Graduation Year: 2019

FAU is an excellent school for the purpose of gaining knowledge, but in choosing a school like with many other things in life you may want to keep in mind your reason for attending. If your main goal is employability you may want to look into both the track record of the school and of the degree program before choosing. FAU, and the Masters of Biomedical Science degree in specific, helped build foundations for research practices that Ill be using in my profession for years to come, but in terms of employability I havent really noticed all that big a change.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2018

I enrolled in Florida Atlantic University's Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program earlier this year after graduating from FAU in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Social Work. I have one more semester before obtaining an MSW degree. Since I am planning to work in the substance abuse field, I am interning at a local treatment center. The clinical experience I am getting is incredible. I facilitate group sessions, counsel clients, write treatment plans, progress notes and much more. While FAU's MSW program is preparing me for clinical social work, I believe the university's BSW program prepared me for generalist practice. From my experience over the last two and a half years, FAU has an excellent program. The faculty genuinely cares, and professors are willing to help students who want to succeed. If you work hard and genuinely want to learn, you will have a great experience. I would highly recommend FAU to anyone who wants to become a social worker. Since FAU is a state school, tuition is reasonable and won't set you back as a private school will, plus I believe you will get a better education at FAU.

Degree: Criminology
Graduation Year: 2017

Attending Florida Atlantic University (FAU) upon transitioning from military service was one of the best decisions I ever made. I attended FAU for my bachelors degree and have now returned to earn my masters. Military members receive great assistance from the staff. Using your military education benefits such as the Post 9/11 bill, is a breeze. If there are any issues, the staff is more than willingly to rectify them immediately. In addition, they're very friendly!

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

Florida Atlantic University is a great institution to pursue a degree at. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Health Administration. One main reason FAU is a great option for the MBA program includes its versatility while gaining your education. FAU not only has the option for online classes but also has a specific program called the flexible-MBA. This is a program that allows students to take classes at their own pace with any specialization they want. Students have the option to choose from Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Administration, International Business, Management Information Systems, Marketing, or Operations Management. This was a main reason why I chose this program over the other options I had, considering I want to pursue a career in Health Administration. Another reason FAU is a great option for graduate education includes the ability to work as a graduate assistant. Many departments hire students to assist with teaching or advising, in exchange for a tuition waiver and stipend. This is very helpful when financing your education and make a major difference in the amount of loans needed. I am in my first year but have has a great experience with my advisors and mentors thus far. The college of business offers internship courses and its own career advising team, so my hopes for advancement in the future is very high.

Degree: Cultural Studies
Graduation Year: 2018

The WGSS program at FAU is small but has a lot to offer for students who benefit from smaller program learning. The small amount of people means everyone knows you and what your research is so they can help connect you to people who can help. They care about you.

Degree: Engineering
Graduation Year: 2019

Florida Atlantic University is one of the top Ocean Engineering facilities in America, from what I have been told. I am still in the first semester of my program, but I am confident that this is the institution I should be at for the degree that I am seeking. The Dania Beach campus is the hub for Ocean Engineering, and they have multiple areas with funding and many research experiments to get involved in. No matter which area you are interested in for Ocean Engineering there is an opportunity for research at this University. The Harbor Branch is the hub for Marine Science, which can also be a resource to the OE students.

Graduation Year: 2022

Florida Atlantic University is one the most attractive colleges in the United States, since it provides research opportunities, assistantships, scholarships, social activities, health care for pupils all around the world. It is the most preferred university by immigrants in Florida who has showed great success on his/her preliminary studies. In addition, the graduate school may offer teaching or research assistantship in order to cover your tuition fees if you are a great match for a research project. It's great opportunity to create a great future.
