"During my time at FAU, I was fortunate to have an amazing English advisor who was able to assist me throughout my journey at FAU. She helped complete a few internships during my time at FAU while also encouraging me to succeed. The professors at this university want students to learn and provide opportunities for students to do that. I feel that in some respects that the course offerings could have been more diverse, but other than that I really enjoyed my time at FAU. I don't regret it."

"I am in the Women and gender studies program at Florida Atlantic University. It is a small rigorous program. I goal is to gain my PhD, pursuing research in Women's and Gender studies. I feel encouraged and well directed at FAU. I highly recommend FAU and this program in particular."

"I was mostly on the Jupiter campus. The campus is beautiful and quiet. It hosts a small but diverse population. If you're looking for a rigorous but engaging program with a small close knit school, this is the place to go. The professors were great and very supportive. The Honors College requires a thesis to be done and an internship/study abroad. This requirement allowed me to personally gain from an internship opportunity and get some practice writing a thesis. Given the partnership between the Honors College and Scripps and Max Planck, I also had the opportunity to be taught by some of the researchers from these institutes along with attending some of their events. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at FAU's Honors College."

"I am currently attending FAU for my PhD in Business Management. FAU is a great school. Their Business PhD program is very well organized and efficient. The professors have open door policies to assist and welcome feedback. The other students in the program are very collaborative, as they don't see a competitive landscape as a beneficial tool."

"FAU has a great up-and-coming bioengineering program. Though small, the course offerings are unique and structured around a students strong-suits. This program is tailored for students to either get a string education in advanced biology, engineering or a hybrid of both. The faculty and advisors truly want what is best for you and will help you tailor your coursework so you can develop strengths in the areas of your choosing. In addition, this university has a strong emphasis on having students become involved in research and have the resources to get students working in labs in their field of interest. This program will only help you to develop a strong resume for when pursuing a career in the biological or biomedical fields."

"FAU is a great school with good professors and course offerings. Their education department is great and is staffed by some truly amazing people who give you real world knowledge, not just blurbs from textbooks. Most of the professors are active teachers or spent years teaching in k-12 classrooms so they are able to teach from experience."

"I have had a great experience at Florida Atlantic University, specifically mostly the Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute Campus, this last year. The classes have been very interesting especially the Marine Microbiology and Molecular Biology Lecture and Lab, Natural History of the Indian River Lagoon and Symbiosis courses. Dr. M., Dr. H., Dr. M., Dr. S. and Dr. B. really cared about their students and ran awesome courses. I do wish that more classes were available via video so that I did not have to drive down to Boca, but it was a nice change of pace."

"Florida Atlantic University was my first choice before starting my Bachelor's degree journey, and it's most certainly my choice for attaining my future Master's degree. The faculty of FAU helped me in every way they could as far as sincerity, information, and doing the best they could to help me graduate faster than I imagined. The university professors are some of the most dedicated and intelligent people. You'd want these mentors to be teaching your child or yourself if you had to pick from a group of the best educators out there. At times, I would get side tracked with work that I would be off on following my degree flow chart (order of classes needed a semester), and the advisers went above and beyond to help me prioritize. I entered FAU in 2012, during a time when the institution was going through major changes, as far as their previous president no longer serving at the university. Then president John Kelly entered the scene, and the contrast was immense. Mr. Kelly was able to develop a plan to help students stay on track, and graduate on time. The university has soared in scores of graduations and academic achievements since then. I was proud to attend FAU, and attain a degree from there. If I had to do it all over again, I would. I highly recommend this academic institution to any future students looking for a university in Florida that provides the cleanest environment, excellent student affair entertainment, and some of the best college sports teams in the nation. Take it from an Owl themselves, this is the university you want to attend."

"i am an international student, currently enrolled in Forida Atlantic Univeristy. the campus is gorgeous, the faculty is most welcoming and the helpful and warm words from the on-campus staff helped me decide on this college. i, being a foreigner was very anxious with my choice of college but I am extremely proud and happy about my choice of school. There are plenty of on and off campus options for living and extra curricular activities. its a home away from home."

"FAU is a great campus for undergrads who are looking for a smaller scale university where they will not be tempted by partying. However, my experience with the master's program in sociology is that if you are looking for this degree to help you attain a job you should look at other programs. If you simply want to learn it does the job but as far as preparing you for post master's, I feel they could improve the program greatly."

"I am currently a graduate student at Florida Atlantic University, and I am going into my second year of my program. As an undergraduate student I also attended this wonderful university. It is located in the Sunshine State of Florida, where the weather and the blue skies on campus never disappoint. This institution is warm and welcoming. FAU has opened doors for my future that I could have never imagined. It has given me a career that will help me to assist individuals through counseling. The School of Social Work has educated me on what it means to be a social worker. The curriculum that I have been exposed to has pushed me to be better as a student in my critical thinking and how I approach the world. The professors at FAU genuinely care about students' success as a whole. Overall, FAU is a great place to not only obtain an education, but it also a great place to progress and learn as an individual."

"Florida Atlantic University is a wonderful school with so much diversity. The social work program that I am a part of has aided me in becoming the best social worker I believe I can be. The professors genuinely care about your learning and your well being, and the internship programs that the school of social work puts you through really helps jump-start your future as a social worker. I wouldn't have traded my education for any other university. I am excited to learn more in my masters program!"

"Finding a better advisor and changing thesis topics helped a ton, but ended up losing years of research because of the need to switch. There was one professor in the department that gave arbitrary grades based on whether he liked you or not, so all of your work did not matter."

"The program has been informative. The professors are accessible and knowledgeable. The main con is the extra costs associated with my classes. Between computer programs I've had to purchase and the cost of textbooks it has been a struggle."

"I think it's a great program for its size. It is very close knit group and you can rely on everyone to support you through the journey. It is not the most organized program sometimes and some of the course work is not justifies, but it is still challenging and provides a good foundation for speech-language pathology."

"I believe that the Civil engineering program at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is young, therefore, the materials being tough are up to par and practical. The only problem the program is facing are the lack of classes provided each semester for each sub-discipline. Not having a variety of courses tough each semester slows a student down from graduating in a timely fashion."
