Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2020

The School is very safe and, doctoral students has access to the building even in the evening and weekends. The teachers are very fair, caring and respecting the diversity. Networking opportunities are endless if we strive for. A positive work environment makes students feel comfortable coming to school even for self-study. There are enough infrastructures and resources in the University.

Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Family)
Graduation Year: 2019

Florida Atlantic University is in the heart of a very culturally diverse area of South Florida. The graduate nursing programs are equally diverse, representing India, Haiti, Jamaica, Central and South America, among others. They encourage a culture of caring, acceptance and love among students and staff and you can feel the positive energy. The professors are passionate about their work and genuinely want all of us to succeed!! I am still in coursework and have not started clinicals yet, but I am looking forward to representing FAU in the community as I begin that journey. I feel this university is preparing us well to serve the people of Florida as Family Nurse Practitioners. We are learning to practice with cultural sensitivity, compassion and evidence based care. In addition to clinical skills, we are also learning about healthcare policy and patient advocacy. I will use this knowledge to reach out to underserved populations and try to alleviate health care disparities. I hope that by reading this review, more people will consider a graduate nursing program with FAU! The professors are well known, some published caring theorists, and many are working on international projects as well. I feel privileged to be a part of the class of 2019 and am looking forward to making a positive impact in my community.

Degree: Biology
Graduation Year: 2016

The program that I am currently attending is the Biomedical Science Master's Program at FAU. Class sizes are very small so it is easier to get to know your professors and your peers. What I like about this program is that my professors want you to focus on your confidence and public speaking skills. Almost every class requires you to present on a certain topic related to your curriculum. It is nerve wracking but the professors are pretty understanding and give you constructive criticism as to how to do better next time. Also, there are research seminars every semester to keep students updated on promising research and advancements in the field. I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested because I think it can prepare you for the field.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2017

The Florida Atlantic University College of Nursing lives up to its title as "The Caring College". The faculty are very sensitive to the students' needs and provide excellent education in a very caring environment. I highly recommend FAU's PhD program and nursing program overall.

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

When I first entered into the MBA program at Florida Atlantic University, I was extremely nervous about how I would perform given that I'd graduated from my undergraduate program (UNC-Chapel Hill) 15 years prior. The program's rigor has been beyond what I expected, and that has made rising to the challenge of performing well that much more gratifying. My Online MBA program is a part of the Executive Education program. The professors are not only knowledgeable, but passionate about their fields and about helping each and every student master the material. Even though my classes are online-based, I never feel disconnected because the faculty and staff initiate regular contact and offer support on everything from academics to financial support. The Executive Education program is perfect for non-traditional students because of the staff support. The staff supports us by completing our class registrations and sending reminders to be sure that we are aware of various deadlines and updates. There are many great business school to consider. However, I urge anyone who is interested in pursuing an MBA,, especially an Executive MBA, seriously consider what FAU has to offer.

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2013

Florida Atlantic University not only fully prepared me for my career as a school counselor, but also prepared me for doctoral level education and research. The professors are highly educated, well-researched and invest in student success by building meaningful relationships and offering sound guidance. My master's level education from Florida Atlantic University has allowed me to pursue my dreams.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2019

The cognitive neuroscience department one of the best department in this regards among the other universities in the nation. The strength of the department of visual perception is the biggest advantage among the other branches of cognitive neuroscience. This is the potential school to train the graduate students to the same standard as the other good schools teach. I would recommend others to choose this school as their potential graduate school.

Degree: Architecture
Graduation Year: 2016

My name is N.F. and Im a candidate for a dual degree program offered at Florida Atlantic University through the College of Social Inquiry known as the Barch Murp Program. This program offers a Bachelor Degree in Architecture and a Masters Degree in Urban & Regional Planning. Even though, the program overlaps its treated separate as each candidates for the program has to complete and graduate from the Architecture program first before they can apply to the Masters of Urban & Regional Planning program. I graduated from the Architecture program on August 9, 2016 and is expected to graduate from the Masters of Urban & Regional Planning program in May of 2017. Florida Atlantic University has provided me with tremendous opportunities for success. One opportunity that makes learning extremely exciting to me is the complete access to the twenty four hour computer lab on the Fort Lauderdale campus. Just the thought of knowing that only FAU students have twenty four hour access to the building with security guards and the latest computer software in the lab, makes me feel I can achieve anything. The curriculum is extremely rigorous but the University gives us training wheels to succeed. Each student has an Academic Adviser who is very accessible at all times who guides us with our educational plan, which keeps us on track so we can graduate in a timely manner. They are like our continuous tour guide in a strange place. With their guidance all are welcome. The Professors are very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They make themselves accessible to each student who needs extra help. The university allows us to envision success through their many workshops, labs; library and my favorite, mini stress relieve parties with free food. Florida Atlantic University has its own unique, melting pot of students living and working together to achieve one common goal, success.

Degree: Criminology
Graduation Year: 2015

Florida Atlantic University is a great school. I am currently in the master's program and I enjoy it so far. The professors are great, the classroom are not so big which makes it easier for not only the professor but the students, they are able to answer all of our questions. Lastly I was extremely impress by the faculty in my graduate program. They are so willing to help us, either with job offers or internships. They really do have a open door policy which is rare in some universities.
