Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2019

I am currently in this program now, and loving it! I have learned so much about business on a higher level, and have been able to apply it to my own startup business. I have learned a lot about text book knowledge and how to apply it in daily life. It has been a great program, and I would highly recommend!

Degree: Theology
Graduation Year: 2013

I greatly value the education that I received at Franciscan University of Steubenville. The theology department is full of knowledgeable professors who apply not only their minds but their entire lives to God, the subject of their study. I think that this is the most unique trait of the academics at Franciscan University, and in my opinion, this integration of mind and action is indispensable for anyone trying to learn and understand the depths of the Catholic faith.

Degree: Religious Studies
Graduation Year: 2018

The Pro is the program has a lot of reputable scholars teaching in their various fields, which in turn provides the students with a great wealth of knowledge in that field. One con is that the surrounding part of Steubenville is not a friendly area, and is in need of a lot of evangelization.

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2017

The Pro's are the flexibility of the graduate program to complete assignment on your time. The con is that because there is so much flexibility within the Distance Learning program, you need to have a lot of discipline, otherwise you won't get anything done.

The flexibility of the Distance Learning program is both a pro and a con. The freedom to complete your classes as fast or as slow as you want is definitely a plus, but it can also be a drawback if you are not disciplined.

Degree: Religious Studies
Graduation Year: 2018

I do not like the winter weather but otherwise the faculty and staff try to help students in everyway. Nothing is perfect like the weather because the school is located above the city of Steubenville so going up and down the steep hills to get to the University always worry me because of the possibility of black ice but the school always makes sure they are properly deiced.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2013

For the grad counseling program, the class sizes are less than 30 students and all the classes are on the same floor as the professor's offices. The professors are easy to talk to and willing to help. There is a great Catholic atmosphere at Franciscan University and throughout our classes. We are about a 40 minute drive away from Pittsburgh. Overall, I really enjoy the program.
