I attended a satellite campus and took some online courses. It was nice to have the flexibility to choose alternate classes.

Frostburg State University was a great school for me. I was able to work during the day and earn my Master's degree in School Counseling in the evening. Frostburg State was a close drive from my home which was one of the main reasons I chose to go there. They are also known to have an excellent education program which is another reason I chose to go there. I had great teachers while at Frostburg State and felt prepared to be a school counselor.

This program is a great fit for me and what I am trying to accomplish. I am currently working full-time and was looking for a MBA program that would push me, but allow me to work and go to school, while being productive at both. So far it has been a great experience and one that I know will add great knowledge and experience in the years to come.

The program is great! I wish there were more scholarships offered. I am unaware of any scholarships offered to grad students.

The MAT program at Frostburg State is a 1 year program, which is wonderful. Most schools stretch this program out into 2 years, but Frostburg condenses it down, allowing its students to get into teaching that much sooner. This has its ups and downs; there is added pressure, as none of the workload or expectations are cut out, but the ability to graduate with a Master's degree in 1 year is worth the added pressure.

The pros of my program is the flexibility of being on campus and being online. The professor are very friendly and hands on. I also have the ability of being able to take a variety of classes with my program. I really don't have any cons of the program thus far.

I like that I am able to work towards my MBA online without ever stepping foot on campus. As I am an online student, I am disadvantaged when it comes to the social and teamwork environment that living on campus offers. In addition, my scholarship, loan and grant opportunities seem rather scarce.

I am an online student. The course work is the same as one would receive in a classroom setting. Each online class method varies per professor so it is difficult to assess how much time is need per class until it starts. Some professor require you to work in groups (virtual), others require that you attend the virtual chat for lecture, while others you do the work outlined in the syllabus and you may have no contact with other classmates all semester. Overall, I am enjoying my classes and this program. The professors are always available and are prompt to return messages.
