Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Acute Care)
Graduation Year: 2018

Grand Canyon University is a great school. It has been very supportive. I am enrolled in an online program for Nurse Practitioners. Classes are already registered to a person in the program, and books are available online, taking away to stress on registering for classes and trying to order books. In addition, the counselor is available to answer any questions and they contact you immediately with any concerns My field advisor, helped my find clinical placement and help email all document of my profile to the hospital. Also, if you have any questions, they return your call immediately. They were very supportive when I had a difficult preceptor that was not very invested in my learning process. At this time, they offered encouragement and advised me on how to deal with this situation. They are very supportive and invested in the success of there students. They make to educational process smooth and are very caring. I am very happy with my experience so far, and would definitely recommend this school. I have learned so much with their programs, such as a virtual patient you can talk to, assess and diagnose. The material is very interactive, which makes the program effective and helps you learn the material well. The professors provide feedback and are available to answer questions. Again, I would recommend this program to anyone pursuing their Nurse Practitioner degree.

Any time I had a question concerning classes or finances, I had an immediate response. When professors would respond to my papers, the responses were meaningful and helpful. When the site was done for maintenance, the school made sure students and staff knew way in advance. My overall experience has been a very positive one, and that is why I am attending GCU for my Doctorate.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2019

I am currently enrolled in the MSN with emphasis in nursing education at GCU online program. It works great for working individuals with families that can't leave for school. Rigorous program with excellent curriculum. I would highly recommend the program. Costly but well worth investment and time as it is made for nursing professionals.

Degree: Christian Counseling
Graduation Year: 2018

Grand Canyon works well for those working full time while going to school. They help with curriculum as well as classes being small. It is a Christian college that allows those of faith be open and honest. Financial and student services are great as well as cost.

I have enjoyed the layout and the community that is formed within this school. I have even enrolled in a second program with the university to continue my education. The professors and classmates are thoughtful, thought provoking, and really take education seriously. The counselors are very helpful and go out of their way to meet your needs.
