The online program for the Professional Counseling program is amazing and I have no complaints other than I wish I had a day off between classes.

The program has been manageable on top of working full-time and was year-round, so it was not overwhelming. However, I found that the work came easy to me and I was required to teach myself much of the material.

I am not able to comment on such categories as, campus safety or transportation due to the nature of my classes mainly being online, but what I can say is that the support I have received this far, can only lead me to believe that the on campus experience is just as great as online. I love my courses and the length of time to complete my program is very acceptable. The staff and students have been amazing and encouraging. I would recommend this University to others. Love the mission and vision statement and how they are preparing educators for the future.

Grand Canyon Universities online course is very each to maneuver through. It is a known school for on line nursing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All the information that you need is online through the E-books.

Having an online graduate program is beneficial for those that work full-time. I personally have enjoyed the relevance of each of my classes. However, many of the textbooks are difficult to read considering the amount of reading required. The professors are easy to access, but not all are engaged completely in the classes they teach. Most are great teachers though.

(I am online so I guessed at most of these. You need an online version of the rating system.) Re: the online program I love my classes and what I have learned so far! The readings and assignments are relevant and interesting. The work load is intense, but reasonable for full-time workers. The advisers are easy to work with and mostly easy to reach. They prefer phone whereas I prefer email, that is the only difficulty. My courses are back-to-back, eight weeks long, so the whole thing will take 18 months. I am very happy with GCU and excited about this opportunity!

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2012

I received my Master of Public Health from Grand Canyon University and I enjoyed the program. It was very academically challenging and placed emphasis on skills and knowledge that are pertinent to current health care issues. Because the program was very new there were not many students attending the program with me. I would have liked to work with more students and have more classes on campus, but the students I did interact with were wonderful and the faculty were amazing. I am very satisfied with my degree and thoroughly enjoyed my time at GCU.

My graduate program was a wonderful experience. The information provided was directly related to my program. All instructors were knowledgeable in thier areas of study and provided helpful and insightful information to the topics that were discussed. All instructors were easy to interact with and responded back to online questions in a timely manner. My financial and program counselors were also knowledgeable and helpful. This is a school I would highly recommend.
