Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2014

pros- There is a lot of knowledge that is given and there is most of the time positive feedback. The help that is given to the student is great Cons- There are some professors that are not all on the same page as to the rules and regulations.

I am taking the program online so I feel it is hard to access other students and my counselor. I like the course work for the most part. The way the program is set up, there is no reason not to be able to find and complete assignments because it's very well structured. Most of the classes have been very useful to me with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 that I have not found interesting.

Graduation Year: 2017

I have left some stars blank because I take online classes and it is not applicable for me. I believe that Grand Canyon University is an excellent school, there is always someone to help you, and it is convienant that you can do everything from your home computer. The teachers will call you if you have questions and spend time with you if you are having difficulty with a problem. The only aspect I would change of this school's online program is that they need more scholarships for individuals that are having trouble paying for the program. 1600 every two months is alot!

I truly enjoy the online way of earning my degree. It helps me have a job, and a life outside of school. I have to map everything out with my work load but it is very doable.

Degree: Cognitive Psychology

The graduate program is a well-rounded education to prepare the student for future work in the counseling field. Enrolling and receiving financial aid was easy with the help of the student adviser.

Comparing my experience to my friends who are on campus at other schools, the level of my education is much greater. I am learning relevant material and it is challenging. I am proud of what I am learning, even though it is challenging. It has not 'dumbed down' to societies standards.
