Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2019

Grand Canyon University gives the scholar support from beginning to end. Online tools and networking allows the scholar to complete the dissertation process within the required timeframe and in accordance with their guidelines. The scholar is never alone. The best feature is the university faith based and so are the courses. I have thoroughly enjoy my time at Grand Canyon University and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in obtaining a degree at any level!

What I appreciate most about GCU is the Servant Leadership approach and their Christian Worldview. They have taken the concept of supporting student to an entirely new level . From the instructors, to tech support, each encounter has been supportive and encouraging. The online learning management system, (know as LoudCloud) is extremely user friendly. I have been a student here for 5 years now, starting with my Master's degree and now into my Doctoral studies. the librarians are by far some of my ALL TIME FAVORITE people at GCU. They are so eager and willing to offer assistance with everything from conducting scholarly peer-reviewed research for my dissertation to accessing the telephone number of a department on campus. I am also convinced that I have the best dissertation committee there ever was. As a non-traditional student, and a minority male, I have truly appreciated the sense of inclusiveness that GCU has extended to me in the pursuit of my academic goals. I have been fortunate to have such a world-class educational journey as the one offered here at GCU. I would recommend this university to anyone interested in attending a university where student success is a number one priority whether you are attending online, ground campus, or as a cohort student going to class one evening a week and the remainder online. Lopes Up!

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2018

I thoroughly enjoy the online program at this school. Five years ago I completed my BSN with Grand Canyon completely online and it has improved even more since then. I find the online format easy to understand and there is always help available for issues that arise. The format allows an opportunity to complete work ahead of time and maintains a calendar so that it is never a question of when assignments are due.

Graduation Year: 2018

Grand Canyon University has been a great fit for me. I started in a doctorate program and midway decided to start another Master's degree instead. The staff was incredibly accommodating and helped me make the transition seamlessly. All of the instructors are fully vested in ensuring you get the most out of each class. The best part of each class is that you learn the real world application of what you're being taught, not just what you need to know to pass the class. Highly recommend GCU!

Degree: Christian Counseling
Graduation Year: 2019

I have attended GCU for my Bachelors as well as my Masters. I had to change my major right now and will push out my grad date. GCU is a great college and have been an awesome learning experience. Because they are a Christian college all classes are taught with a Christian worldview but can also benefit those that are not Christian. I have a 3.9 and because of doing my degrees online it has been easy to fit into my busy schedule.

Degree: Elementary Education
Graduation Year: 2018

I really enjoyed completing courses at Grand Canyon University for my master's program! Since I am a full-time teacher, mom and student, having online classes and only one class at a time really worked with my schedule and life! The class structure is really straightforward, with all of the classes being formatted the same way, so the requirements for each class are predictable and the first course was an introductory course to the program so I was able to get used to the set up before really having to focus on content!

Degree: Education
Graduation Year: 2018

As a current graduate student, I am working on my Masters of Education in Early Childhood Development. I don't expect I will earn very much, but that's the career I chose. I am not satisfied with the assistance I requested in looking for scholarships, especially considering my grad internship requires 16 weeks of full time UNPAID work. I thought advisors and other staff were supposed to help direct in this area, but I was simply given a website after I thought about asking 6 months into my program. I asked students from other schools and I was given several sites to check out. Everyone was surprised I wasn't helped more with this. I have had very kind teachers, but I'm beginning to think I'm either suddenly very smart, or the curriculum is just fairly easy, in comparison to what I remember ending my undergrad with. It isn't "easy," but I'm easily getting straight As with a normal amount of effort. I am taking everything 100% online, so I don't know what the campus safety is like, but had to pick a number of stars above. I think they did a great job of finding the staff who recruited me to join GCU because he was very nice, knowledgeable and kind and was an excellent salesman. I wish he hadn't been, though. I should have shopped around.

I would recommend GCU to anyone looking to get into a great college either out of high school for their bachelor degree or someone looking to go in to get their secondary education degree because I have continued with GCU for my Masters and I will be completing my 2nd degree this year!

I was skeptical about online learning; however, upon successfully completing my masters degree online at Grand Canyon University, I felt an overwhelming need to continue my PhD online as well. After comparing classes with on campus programs, I realized that I would receive just as good an education online. I am closer to completing my coursework and look forward to my dissertation. My advisors, professors, and classmates have made the entire process seamless, thus far. I would highly recommend my school, GCU, to anyone looking for a word class education that is equally competitive with similar programs at brick and mortar universities.
