The school works for me because I work during the day and need a chance to get my work done after school hours.

GCU is a well respected school within the medical community here in Phoenix, AZ. I am very pleased to have chosen this school for my graduate studies.

Because I am doing my grad program online, it fits my schedule. The con is that since we are not meeting in a classroom, we are answering needless discussion questions every week, and then we have to respond to other people's questions. It is redundant and a waste of time. As a full time teacher and mother of two, time is a luxury and doing these questions takes away precious moments I could spend with my family.

The online program is very convienent. Though I like not having to go to class everyday, I have to have extra discipline since I do not get to a campus,

GCU is a great college. It challenged me and pushed me to think outside the box.

Since I have just started my graduate program I may not have the most accurate description of my program. However I'm also an online student so the program is going to be different than an on campus program. So many of the categories I didn't feel like I was able to rate accurately and therefore left them blank... This unfortunately caused my over all rating of the program to go down... Also being in the Masters program this reduces the financial aid available which is why that particular rating is so low. However overall I would recommend this program to others if they were to ask me what I thought a good online program was.

I feel the pros of my program are as follows: the immediate feedback you receive from the instructors, the monthly calls from your individual financial and academic advisors, simplistic design of online usage, and the overall atmosphere of the program. I do not feel my program has any cons. I used to wonder why one class at a time, but as I have progressed in my program I believe it was designed in a way to help students excel, which has made me love taking one class a time!

It is a simple way to earn a graduate degree with only one class a week for four hours. With additional work. The program lasts 19 months but it is made simple for those who need to work.

The work, so far, has been interesting and when comparing what the employment opportunities are out there, it looks to be good preparation. This program is challenging. The doctoral program is by no means easy but I am meeting excellent fellow students as well as instructors and staff. The campus appears friendly and welcoming.
