Grand Canyon University offers a rigorous online graduate program in education that prepares its students for a career as an educator. The staff and faculty members are very supportive and accessible which means a lot in an online environment. The only con about GCU is its course management system "LoudCloud" which has a lot of technical issues and could be very frustrating when trying to submit assignments.

There were no scholarships offered for any online classes, yet in a news article tuition was stated as $7800 a year. Online is very expensive. On the other hand I do like the ability to go to school anytime I am able, night or day.

The program was offered online which was a plus. You only have to post 3 days out of 7 days. The assignments are due the last day of the week The classes start on Thurs and end on Wednesday. Communication may be a con, because sometimes you need immediate response to questions and you have to wait almost a day before you get an answer to your question.

I feel like this survey is not completely relevant because I am in an online studies program therefore most of these topics don't actually apply. I've never actually been on campus, I live at home, so therefore I don't know much about the transportation and social aspects.

It seems that this school is not preoccupied with one's education but rather is after money as their primary focus.

Grand Canyon University offers a challenging but doable graduate degree program. The materials and instruction, if embraced fully, are perhaps more valuable than the tuition for them, so I would highly recommend GCU to potential graduate students.
