Degree: Early Childhood Education
Graduation Year: 2017

Grand Canyon University is an excellent institution that I would highly recommend to others. The convienence and ease of online classes made changing careers a very pleasant experience. I was always able to communicate with teachers, students and staff as needed. Anytime there was a concern, teachers and staffed addressed the issue and helped me along the way. The Christian based values and beliefs was also an added bonus to my educational journey at GCU!

Attending GCU has been a wonderful experience! I am changing careers, so ensuring my success and having assistance along the way was very important to me. Anytime there was a concern, someone was there to help. As I working to complete a Masters in Early Childhood Education, I was required to communicate often with several different people to ensure hours were met, I was placed in classrooms correctly, and that all other requirements were met. I felt very comfortable working with everyone. Again, at anytime there was a problem, someone was there to help! The curriculum and online classroom was also very well structured and maintained. It was very easy to communicate with teachers and other students regardless of distance. GCU's Christian values are also a huge bonus! I love knowing that others have similar beliefs and values and we are all working towards a successful future! I would highly recommend GCU!

As a mother of two young children, and being in my mid-thirties, enrolling in Grand Canyon University's graduate program was scary, but I knew I needed to further my education to make my dreams a reality. Grand Canyon University's staff made me feel so comfortable and at ease during the enrollment process. All of their professors have been knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging with a Christian background. I am exited to only have one more online class and my student teaching class left until I have my Masters in Elementary Education. I am so thankful for the education I have been provided to aid children in gaining the knowledge and skills to become active participants in the global society.

Degree: Sports Management
Graduation Year: 2016

Grand Canyon University is a school where if you want to succeed they have the ability to help you every step of the way. Starting out at Grand Canyon University felt a little strange at first, but once I realized how available every teacher, professor and counselor are more than willing to help with whatever I was struggling with till I got it. Learning online can be stressful sometimes because you feel you are teaching yourself, but you are not by yourself, discussion boards, live tutors and technology always updating. The only thing you need to do is do the work and realize the school is on your side and not out to get you. The degree program was excellent, coming from a bachelors in sports management, I knew there was going to be a learning curve, but with the help of the excellent staff at Grand Canyon I am graduated and pursuing a PH.D in Performance Psychology.

Grand Canyon University is preparing their students that will apply in their everyday clinical professional setting. The curriculum is designed to cover all aspects in the field including science or medical, cultural, and religious topics. In the medical part of the curriculum, Grand Canyon University provides topics that is significant in the clinical setting. For example, in Advance Pharmacology class, topic discussions cover Proton Pump Inhibitor prophylaxis and Venous Thromboembolism prophylaxis medications. Grand Canyon University's online program is flexible and affordable. This makes it feasible for working professionals to be able to continue their education while working full-time and balancing family and personal life.

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction
Graduation Year: 2017

The Master of Science in Professional Counseling at Grand Canyon University has been providing me with knowledge and skills for behavioral, emotional, psychological, and social issues. Topics covered have been addiction and substance abuse, abuse crisis, marriage and family counseling, and more including diagnosis, assessment, and treatments. What my program didn't cover was criminal behaviors, perspectives on society, social control, restorative justice for victim assistance, and legal research involving statutes, regulations, and court decisions. These are all areas I need to work with Domestic or Intimate Partner Violence survivors. I look to work extensively with survivors and wish to continue on with any movements in the justice system.

Degree: Organizational Leadership
Graduation Year: 2018

I think that the classes are rigorous and relevant to my degree and the field that I am in. The staff is friendly and courteous, providing proper feedback. I have attended the school for one residency and will be going for another. My wife who also attends the school in her bachelor program also attended the residency with me and everybody made her feel welcome. She was able to walk the campus and do some studies there at the school. Financial aid has not been a problem and the advisors really do care about the amount of money borrowed and do offer insights pertaining the best course of action. I have also found the instructors to be courteous and willing to offer feedback that shares the expectation of the doctoral level. I am half way through the program and am now moving more towards the dissertation component of the degree. I am conducting research but I aim noticing even more rigor and expectation in the program. I will be excited when done! I do see the love for GOD on the campus as well. I think it is an excellent school to attend.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2010

Grand Canyon University provides a high-quality education with academic and financial advisory services that are unmatched by any other school I've attended. The instructors were reliably reachable, even after hours, by e-mail, and respond within a few hours in most cases. Instructors were of the highest quality and genuinely cared about their students. For an online experience to be this valuable and this individualized really blew me away. The financial aid officers I worked with were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and were able to answer even the toughest questions with real information, not opinions or filler information. I had financial aid officers and academic advisers calling me long after I had graduated to make sure I was not lost and floating in the workplace. I still get periodic emails or phone calls to follow-up and see if I have any further need of assistance from them. I would recommend Grand Canyon University to anyone looking for a personalized, small-school-feel, quality education.
