"Harding University College of Pharmacy uses some of the most innovative technology to help teach students in both classroom and hands on learning. My class is one of the most diverse classes in the program. There is hardly any crime on campus and the cost of living in Searcy, AR is very reasonable. There are a few cons to the graduate program but they are minor. I don't believe that there is much public transport and the social life is somewhat slacking but that is because Searcy is a small town. Little Rock is less than an hour away so it is not a that bad"

"The program is very challenging, but it is thorough. The staff members are nothing but helpful."

"Harding University is a private school and therefore cost of the program is extremely high compared to other programs. However, it has a very family like atmosphere. Professors have students over to their houses for dinner. They are open to helping students outside of the classroom. Due to the fact that students must live on campus for their undergraduate program there is no transportation for off campus students beyond personal means. The town itself is rather small, but there are a lot of opportunities for those who enjoy the outdoors and Little Rock is only forty-five minutes away."

"Hardings' Physical Therapy Program is very new having just started a year and a half ago. The faculty is amazing and each professor knows their subjects very well. The biggest con is the fact that the program is so new and small issues are still being resolved, but I believe the professors and faculty are doing a wonderful job at working out the problems in a very efficient manner. I couldn't be happier than to be in this program."

"Social life is very quiet around Searcy. If you would like more of a night life, Little Rock is about 45 minutes away. The support here is amazing, and they do have a wonderful network around Arkansas."

"Choosing Harding University turned out to be one of the best choices I ever made. Originally, I was drawn to it because it's just a short drive (105 miles) from Memphis, where I grew up. Searcy, Arkansas, where Harding University is located is a comfortable small town of just about 20,000. It's easy to get around in and everyone is friendly. It's just 50 miles to Little Rock, if you want a night out on a bigger town. From the very start, Harding University staff and faculty went out of their way to make me feel at home. The admissions department staff was very helpful and I don't know what I would have done with out help from the financial aid department. They made the paperwork easy. Once I got started the student affairs team was always there for me when I had questions. The faculty members are outstanding, they really do care about your education. I enjoyed talking with them after class or during their office hours. The campus is large, but not large enough to get lost in, and the price is right. I got a great education for a good price. I also got help with career decisions and job placement, which these days is almost as important as your education. At first I was concerned that the school is affiliated with the Church of Christ, and I'm not a member. I found out fast that it was OK, no one was pushy about their religion and I could join in worship if I wanted to or not, it was up to me. I made a lot of really great friends and joined the Thundering Herd Marching Band. There are lots of ways to meet people and make friends on campus, and with over 6,000 students, there is always someone new to meet."

"I attended the one and only Harding University in the Fall of 1997. I had just graduated college and chose to go to this small and unique school because a lot of my friends were going. I chose to begin my studies in the International Business Program. The program was phenomenal, and I found a great mentor among my first set of professors first semester. At first I really liked Harding because the town is very quiet and nestled 45 minutes north of Little Rock. I enjoyed meeting new people and being away from home. It was my first time away. Because this was my first time away, I got into a little trouble. I was a smoker back then and I was caught out in town smoking. I had to report to the dean. I guess that is what I didn"
t like about that school. This experience did not prepare me for my future because I rarely went to class. I pretty much failed all my classes my first semester. That was my only semester there. I will always remember my time at Harding University."

"The program at Harding is exactly what I wanted to gain more knowledge about myself and the role that God has for me in the world. It is the only nursing program I could find that had an aspect to it that is the same as what attracted me to nursing in the first place- a nurse as a Christian Servant. I appreciated the fact that the Christian basis of the university is clearly an influence on the manner of class and clinical lecturing, as well as the fact that they offer a Health Care Missions Program. My only problem was with the number electives to choose from when scheduling your clinical rotations, some hospital based and some community based (impossible to figure out which ones will be most advantageous to you when you are graduated), but in addition Harding made it possible for me to travel overseas during one of the term breaks and work in a public wellness program, clarifying to me how I wanted to spend my career after finishing my degree. Harding prepared me well for the job I have now in international community health nursing."
