I have greatly enjoyed my time at Hofstra University. I received my Masters in 2003 and a CAS in 2010 and I would like to return for my Doctorate.

Hofstra's school of law is s highly competitive, quality academic program. The school has done a great job preparing me to be a lawyer, something I certainly was not ready to do upon beginning law school. The school does have its drawbacks since Hempstead is not the most wonderful area on Long Island. However, the transportation available and location near New York City is definitely attractive. I am a commuter student and although traffic on Long Island can be frustrating at times, it is usually easy to get to and from Hofstra. It offers a quality social life near campus and its proximity to the city gives students the opportunity to go into the city easily whenever they please. Overall the Law School has been a great experience for me and though there may be some "better" schools in New York, my experience at Hofstra has been extremely positive and I am glad I chose Hofstra as my law school.

My program is the premedical post bac certificate program. This program is great for individuals that need to take their prerequisites for nursing, PA, dental or medical school. I will start the program in a few weeks. One con would be that there is little to no financial aid for this program, because the classes taken are undergraduate courses and the school is private however the courses and the education you will receive is worth it.

Pro: Most of the people in the program are out to help one another grow and become better filmmakers. Con: It is a new program so we do not receive a lot of money to help the students.

Hofstra has made me feel that I have made the right decision coming back to school. When you feel happy about the future and that you will one day be having a very positive impact on the lives of others - you know you're doing the right thing and that you are in the right place!

Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2014

The Graduate program at Hofstra University thus far has been a wonderful experience. The professors are extremely considerate and are willing to help with questions and concerns. They made the transition for me from an undergraduate student to a graduate student very simple and smooth. The career center has an abundance of opportunities for students that are looking for job openings. The center assists tremendously in guiding students on the right path. Being a night student, makes it slightly difficult to take part in all of the event and activities on campus. However, I can always email or call if I ever need assistance with anything.

The education program for physics is very didactic and comprehensive. IT is a great opportunity for medical experience as well because of the schools association with surrounding hospital system. However, this part of the country tends to be rather expensive.
