Degree: Education Administration
Graduation Year: 2014

As a native New Yorker living in Atlanta, it was a great opportunity to attend this university's distance learning program. I found the staff helpful, the faculty supportive and the overall experience instrumental in advancing in my career. The courses were relevant and the instruction utilized various delivery methods leading to strong learning outcomes. I would highly recommend this program to any working professional interested in advancing their career in education.

Degree: MBA in Management
Graduation Year: 2018

The Online MBA program at Hofstra University is a great program for people like myself who work fulltime and have a family. What I like most about the program so far is that it offers me the flexibility I need so that I can achieve my Masters without have to give up time at work or with my family. I am able to plan out my day so that I can meet the expectations of the program. It can be challenging at times but it is nothing that is not do-able. The program also allows you an intimate connect with approximately 20 students and you will develop meaningful relationship with the members of your cohort so that you can all achieve success in the program together.

Degree: Elementary Education
Graduation Year: 2018

My undergraduate degree was in business and my masters in elementary Ed has made me feel just as prepared for the world of teaching as the people who have earned their undergraduate degree in teaching. Kind, empathetic, knowledgeable professors. Most of whom are currently teachers or principals.

Hofstra University is a University full of opportunities. The mental health counseling program for masters has amazing professors who are more than willing to help their students succeed. The professors are very invested in their students and are also very engaged with the organizations the students are involved in as well.

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2018

Some professors explain things in a simple way while others explain things in complicated ways. There is usually around 100 to 200 pages of reading each week. They give scholarships to 90% of incoming students but only 40% can keep 100% of the scholarships.

Hofstra University has wonderful and knowledgeable professors that are always available to help. The classes are relatively easy and I never feel overwhelmed with assignments. I feel extremely comfortable moving forward in my career. I also love that all of my classes are in the same building as well.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2011

Hofstra has a great I/O Psychology program, with knowledgeable teachers, and a great paid internship opportunity. I enjoyed the campus as well, as it was very beautiful, and different from going to a college in the city. The grad dorms were also very nice.
