Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

Graduate school is a huge commitment so it is important to have the support of your teachers and fellow students along the way. Howard University's Occupational Therapy professors have been very supportive and willing to help in any way possible to ensure that we all graduate and continue on to become great Occupational Therapists! DC, while slightly expensive, is a great area to see history and also enjoy the nightlife!

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2017

Howard University is one of the best historically black law schools. The education experience and networking opportunities yield nothing, but success in the legal field.

The faculty support is excellent and the courses cater to my resesrch interest but there isnt enough TA and Graduate Assistantship opportunities. Graduating funding is a challenge.

Degree: School Psychology
Graduation Year: 2016

My program is still in the development stages. There will be more additions to the programs quality in the coming years.

Degree: Philosophy
Graduation Year: 2015

WHILE I LOVE MY CHOICE OF SCHOOL IN MY EFFORTS TO FORWARD MY EDUCATION, THE RATE OF TUITION IS NOT COMPARABLE. I AM CURRENTLY ENTERING INTO MY LAST YEAR AND I NEED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN ORDER TO COMPLETE MY DEGREE. THE FACULTY AND STAFF AT THE DIVINITY SCHOOL ARE PERSONABLE, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE ALWAYS WILLING AND AVAILABLE TO PROVIDED PROMPT AND DEPENDABLE ASSISTANCE TO THE STUDENT.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2015

The internet is very frustrating sometimes, and sometimes getting a hold of the professors. However, the program is great and I would not change my decision. Wish I could have gotten more financial help though.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2015

Though the surrounding area can use some rebuilding, the education is high quality. All of the professors are so personable and have real world experience in the field. Howard is also well connected with organizations throughout DC and it is not difficult to get a job.

Degree: Mechanical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2014

Howard University has a good graduate program provided that you like the research topic of the professors. The only thing is that sometimes the administration is slow with dispersing funding.
