Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2018

I chose Huntington University because it cherished the delicate work of an occupational therapist, placed an emphasis on evidence-based and ethical practice, offered classes to teach a thorough understanding of human anatomy and neurological recovery, and because of their concern for world issues. Huntington University encourages students to look at new and innovative approaches to occupational therapy, while placing an emphasis on the foundation, history, and uniqueness of the field of occupational therapy.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2018

Hutington University's Counseling Program goes above and beyond the state requirements for Licensed Mental Health Counseling students; the programs courses not only meet, but exceed the state accreditation requirements. As a student I know I'll be better qualified and more prepared than others coming from other programs The staff are very supportive, and always accessible. Most professors not only have "real world experience", but are still currently practicing, which enriches the class room experience. Classes are also flexible: most are held at times that are accessible to the working adult and online courses are also an option. Althtough this dones't affect me personally, Huntington University is in a small town and therefore doesn't have public transportation. For any student who's living on campus without a vehicle, getting anywhere off campus would be difficult especially during the winter.

Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

The program is brand new and offers a wide array of opportunity for students to engage in beneficial fieldwork/residency opportunities. The faculty are dedicated to the success of the students; and the technology is brand new and state of the art. The professors and staff are accessible, and highly knowledgeable is a variety of subject areas. The financial aid aspect is sometimes confusing, and the communication sometimes lacks. This may be due to the fact that we are still in the first year of the school's program. Overall, I've been very impressed with the graduate program.

Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

I am a part of the first class for this program. It is definitely a tough program with a heavy workload but it is worth it. Our staff and we as a class believe we will be a part of an elite group of new OTD graduates due to the rigorous program we have been through and standards we have been held to. I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve others due to this program.

Words cannot adequately describe how great of a graduate program Huntington University's (HU) occupational doctorate program (OTD) truly is. The professors are certainly invested in myself as well as all of my cohorts. They always make themselves very accessible even with one of the most demanding students in the world such as myself. The way in which the classes are organized are so methodical to enhance our learning experiences. With career advice I have been blessed with not only my advisor as a mentor but all faculty has been an instrumental aspect of my personal and professional journey. I hope this helps and if I can provide any further assistance in sharing more about HU's OTD program and the enlivening experiences they have and are providing me please let me know!

Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

Huntington University's Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program has far exceeded my expectations. The program is extremely challenging, however, the faculty is supportive and available to help whenever needed. I would highly recommend anyone interested in an affordable, challenging, and excellent education to pursue their occupational therapy degree at HU.

The network of support from staff and other students pales in comparison to anything I have ever experienced in my life. I tell everyone looking to achieve higher education to look at Huntington University, because it is nothing short of incredible. I have absolutely zero complaints about this program or this school.

Never in my history of education have I experienced a staff that is so personally invested in each student's success. The director especially has been so instrumental in encouraging me to communicate with her about my progress and level of comfortability with the material. Huntington's OTD program has catered to its students in an above and beyond manner. They have ensured us that they are on our team, rooting for each one of us every single term.
