Degree: Laboratory Technician
Graduation Year: 2019

The current academic career I am pursuing at Indiana University Purdue University- Indianapolis is a bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science through the Indiana University School of Medicine. Through the relationships I have gained with the small staff in this program, I had the opportunity to apply to the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine Pathologists' Assistant Program and received admission for the fall semester of 2017. The elaborate advising of the program directors in my field allowed me to become the first ever student to gain acceptance into this nationally accredited pathologists' assistant program without full completion of my undergraduate degree upon admission. The demanding curriculum allowed me to excel at a competitive level of admissions, and taught me the necessary skills in order to develop into a graduate level student. Although my degree program would be considered small to most, it is an example to all college level students that even a minute program ran through Indiana University's downtown campus is carried out with a high level of respect and diligence in order to allow their students to receive the highest level of education that can be provided.

Degree: Library Technology
Graduation Year: 2018

I love that my classes are online and I can work around my own schedule. Most materials are available through course modules, so I have not needed to spend a lot of money on books and other materials. Coursework is challenging, but attainable, and I am able to design the program to meet my own personal goals within the field.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2019

IUPUI is a great school in a great city. Indianapolis is a large city that has the feel of a small intimate town, the best of both worlds! The campus is easy to find your way around and (most) professors are really great about communicating with you if you have questions. The other great part is that if you are going into medicine, IUPUI shares a campus with Riley Hospital for Children and University Hospital with IU Health so you have direct access to learning in field.

Degree: Library Science
Graduation Year: 2018

I have really enjoyed my classes in library science. The teacher are very helpful and respond quickly if you ask any questions. With the program being 100% on line I have been able to work full time and go to school. If you are looking for a program that has flexible schedule this is the one for you.

Degree: Library Science
Graduation Year: 2013

I chose this program because it was a hybrid program, mostly in person but some online offerings. I also applied for and received a graduate assistantship, which was huge. Recently they have moved to online only, something which appeals to me much less.
