Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2017

Benefits of my graduate program is a very high professor to student ratio. All the instructors are available to students by numerous means. Pullbacks are the program is not as well funded as larger schools.

Our program has become much stronger through the transition to a School of Education, hiring of diverse and well-known faculty, and the leadership of our Director and Director of Graduate Education.

Iowa State is a great program which has a wide variety of faculty who bring in a social justice context. The faculty are also currently doing research in the field while teaching!

I think good think about ISU is its in great campus town and it has a awesome campus. The thing that holds this university back is the network of that university. However that varies from deprtment to department. There are some departments which offer very good graduate programs.

ISU's journalism and mass communication graduate program has a wonderful faculty that are invested in ensuring the success of all of the students in the program. Degree: Business
Graduation Year: 2017

My graduate program is great for working adults in the seed industry that want to learn not only more about the technology they work with but also bring about an understanding for the business aspect of the industry. As a working adult there isn't much available for finical aid, it is almost expected that your employer will help you pay, and not much available for scholarships.

Degree: Electrical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2016

The graduate program I am currently in is a great one both in its content and the support from professors. The online accessibility makes this program easy to focus on learning. Thus far I have yet to see any cons aside from normal learning abroad issues. However, Iowa State makes every effort to eliminate these issues.
