Student & Graduate Reviews

4.17 out of 5.0
Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2016

What I feel are the pros of my graduate program are: 1) the rigorous writing required in LARC (ranked in the top 10 writing programs); 2) professor's open door policy; 3) career services assistance to make ensure students find jobs, externships, internships, and pro bono work. What I feel are the cons of my graduate program are: 1) the strict grading rubric and 2) the lack of security on the premises.

Degree: Occupational Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

IUPUI is a very affordable option. The quality of education is not sacrificed either. My first choice school for Occupational Therapy.

IUPUI is a good school in a strange part of Indy

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2014

In the year and a half that I have been involved in this program I feel the pros that the program has to offer are a great variety of knowledgeable staff. I feel the quality and depth of the curriculum challenges and provides a great opportunity for well rounded critical thinking. The cons that I have experienced which all stem from my individual circumstance of having to work a full-time job, is not having encough time to manage work and my academic study time.

Degree: Social Work
Graduation Year: 2013

Campus is located in downtown Indy with easy access via car or public transportation. Faculty are engaging and available. Diverse campus with many opportunities to connect with student organizations, network with professionals, and attend guest lectures and seminars. Five MSW tracks to choose from: leadership, healthcare, schools, child welfare, and mental health & addictions.

Degree: Communications
Graduation Year: 2015

I have met some great people in this graduate program and have already had some eye-opening experiences! I would recommend this program to any communications undergraduate looking to increase their skill sets.

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2014

I really enjoy how easily I can communicate with the faculty and the thorough education I am receiving.

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2012

Overall, my experience in the public health program at IUPUI was fine. Professors are great, accommodating, and experienced in the field. However, there was never a cohort sense or connectedness to other students. This was a program working professionals tended to complete as a side to their already busy lives. There was not much room for those who were exploring areas, but was instead designed for those who already had a direction. Since, the program has changed including the establishment of the School of Public Health where it is becoming more adept for the traditional student.

Degree: Physical Therapy
Graduation Year: 2015

Pro: well worth he money. Half he cost of the other school in town. Con: some teachers are not technologically advanced!

Degree: Health Sciences
Graduation Year: 2017

Indiana has a great medical program that is the second largest in the country (and growing). Indianapolis is a wonderful city to live where you can get the big city feel and still feel at home.
