"It is one of the best graduate programs available. The amount of research opportunities in Biomedical Engineering is outstanding and allows to apply the knowledge from the courses and further learn by hands-on experience. I also personally like the fact that this is a small school, with a relatively relaxed campus atmosphere that allows for relaxation between work sessions"

"This was an excellent school. It is no wonder it is considered the best public health school in the country. I learned a lot from all the classes I took. There is a collaborative atmosphere among the students."

"JHU provided me with a very rigorous education that greatly improved my critical thinking skills. I was continuously challenged and because of that, I have confidence when I encounter tough tasks in my professional life. The classes are small and the professors are accessible. I majored in political science and because Hopkins is a very science-focused research institution, I often felt like non-science majors had their own community. This may be ideal for some but if a person is looking for an artsy, creative environment, Johns Hopkins may not be the best choice. My school also did not have a great amount of class or racial diversity. This led to high tension and protests during my senior year (in 2015). The President of Hopkins has made it his mission to diversify the university by outlining a 10 year plan. I believe Johns Hopkins has room for growth but overall, I do not regret the excellent education I received from the university."

"Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) provides an unparalleled combination of international economics and choices for policy concentrations. The diverse population allows for insights into necessary professional skills and unique academic capabilities. It provides a strong community support base, from both faculty and peers. The range of concentrations and thus courses allows for as highly specialized a concentration as an individual may desire. There is considerable encouragement to pursue non-core courses on a more intuitive basis in order to ensure strong interest in the subject. The amount of stress and uncertainty that may arise on any given day is ultimately mitigated by the approachable nature of the other individuals and the strong academic framework provided."

"The Johns Hopkins University a great university with good lecturers and an interesting selection of courses. The school provides the students with real life learning and prepares them for what the working world will be like in their industry. The courses are challenging, the content is great, and some profs are so well respected in their field and it is an honor to be taught by them. The Homewood campus is stunning and its close to everything."

"The undergrad Hopkins atmosphere is undeniably competitive, but not cutthroat. It's a fairly large school, although the campus itself isn't remarkably difficult to navigate. Hopkins has an interesting culture of 'productivity' that can be difficult to manage, but the surest way to live well in that environment is through community. If you are planning to spend your tuition money (and then some) here, commit to seeking out people who will challenge you, encourage you, and remind you of who you are. The grind is real, but so is the love."

"Johns Hopkins SAIS is the preeminent place to study International Affairs worldwide. With an incredible faculty, broad-ranging subject areas, and fascinating extracurricular activities it is very easy to get engaged in the program. The SAIS network is unmatchable, and has opened up many career paths to me that might not otherwise be available. I highly recommend attending SAIS!"

"The Hopkins School Counseling Fellows program is a one year intensive masters program with a concentration in urban and metropolitan areas. This program not only teaches you about the profession, but it also helps you to learn who YOU are as an individual. What do you believe in? What are your passions? What are your hopes and dreams? Why you are pursuing this profession? And most importantly, how will you impact those whom you will be serving in a way that produces long-term residual effects. Going to Johns Hopkins for grad school was one of the best decisions I've made in my life to date!"

"The ChemBE program is one of the most rigorous programs at Johns Hopkins. It is important to have a great work/life balance at this school. Hopkins strives to meet that balance. Hopkins also strive to prepare you for your future. It has many research opportunities that people get involved in during their freshman year (myself included). The ChemBE program is perfect for those who want to push themselves beyond their limit to see what they can accomplish."

"The Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing PhD program is really great. Although the coursework is challenging, it definitely prepares you to be a nurse scholar and researcher and to be the best in your field. I have grown exponentially after starting the program and appreciate the knowledge and experience I have gained from the program already. I am confident in my ability to obtain research grants and a postdoctoral fellowship when I graduate. The professors are knowledgeable and helpful, and the students are supportive. If I had to go back and choose a program all over again, it would be this one."

"This school provides excellent networking opportunities for future prospects. However, more student funding should be available for graduate programs. School should focus more on students and teaching, rather than just research. At least opportunities for students to do research are abundant!"
