I'm currently having financial challenges in my life. I am only a few classes away from completing the program, and my school district is aggressively waiting for my completion so they may hire me as a full-time teacher.

Great online program. The courses were valuable and the course work load was manageable. Knowledgeable faculty.

JIU had great program offerings and because it was all online it fit my schedule perfectly. The school left a bit to be desired in terms of support after graduation to move on to either continue my education or job placement. The instructors were great and although the workload was heavy, I think it more than prepared me for a career.

Jones International University it a good online option for earning a degree. It is affordable, flexible with good course material. Some courses can lack in interaction and depth, depending on the contributions of other peers. As a graduate program, it lacks the benefits of a campus program, such as networking and face-to-face interaction. Keep in mind that some employers or doctorate programs may not accept degrees earned online or hold them in high regard.

The pros are that you have an opportunity to interact with people from all over. There are no cons.

Throughout my studies at Jones International University - JIU, I was extremely impressed with the highly professional, yet personal businesslike manner in which all departments handled my needs. The keen point to this was it was not just a business to the University of getting students into their school and taking classes. The staff in Student Accounts to the classroom faculty personally made me feel a part of the school. Although I lived and "typed" my answers to problems far away in Mason, Ohio; I felt as if I was literally a part of the campus in Colorado. Another exciting learning experience occurred through JIU's online learning just because it was easy to connect to professors in any part of the world. This happened as well with students, thus expanding my learning situations in many ways. I can not give enough positive accolades for The School of Education and JIU online course of study!!! THANK YOU, SO MUCH!
