Its an exiting opportunity to come and learn from the Graduate School of KSU, where there is a huge flexibility among courses as well as a very competitive field in the program itself.

One can read the same books and write the same papers anywhere at any program. It is the quality of mentorship and the availability of faculty that sets Kansas State University apart from others. Graduate school can be a disorienting place with its own codes and sets of expectations. Navigating the grants, the opportunities, the research process, etc. can be bewildering. The faculty here are always willing to set aside their own interests to help students figure it all out. I have received an enormous amount of quality instruction, advice, and feedback from faculty inside and outside of my committee.
