Pros: convenience of online school. Can do your course work when you have time. Cons: Financial Aid does not get dispersed until midway through semester, so you are forced to buy new books through the University if using fin aid.

My graduate program is challenging which encourages me to work hard. I love how it is all online because it allows me to hold a job while I work towards a masters degree. The professors respond very quickly to emails and they are willing to work with students when problems arise. It has been a great experience thus far!The only con would be that no grants or scholarships are available to graduate students at this school.

The pros of my graduate program are this program is great for working parents who are not able to attend traditional graduate school on a campus. The course load is flexible as well as the term schedules.

I really love the fact that I can take courses at my convenience. The professors are accessible and work with you one on one when problems occur. The only thing I dislike is group projects. It is difficult to do on campus, let alone online. Other than that everyone is great from the advisers to tech support.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2012

The faculty was great. They were always accessible if you needed them. My only problem is the degree doesn't fit what other colleges are looking for in faculty. My degree was in higher education-college teaching and learning, but it was too general. Colleges are looking for 18 graduate hours in something specific to teach at the college level. I think Kaplan should offer degrees that are more subject specific.

Great programs, great professors who worked with students to make sure they understood the course and work. Did not like the ebooks but got used to them by getting a second laptop to read them. Enjoyed all the professors and classes.

CONS - As an online student it is all on you - you are your motivation PRO - you can work and school without losing time by using the archive classes if you do miss one.

I work full time and have a family so the online classes at Kaplan work the best for me. The staff has been great and very responsive to every question I have had. I do wish they offered more scholarship and grant opportunities.

Degree: Nursing

The program is online and many of the questions asked cannot be rated. I find the faculty to be extremely helpful, they go out of their way for their students and are helpful when dealing with the adult working student.
