This is a good school. The graduate program has really expanded my knowledge base. I feel that it has made me ready to evolve in my career. The instructors that I have had have been very helpful and truly care about helping their students.

The pros of my graduate program are this program is great for working parents who are not able to attend traditional graduate school on a campus. The course load is flexible as well as the term schedules.

I can say too much about Kaplan because my classes are online, I do not know too much about the living experience of a life classroom but when it come to a virtual classroom everything comes to be ok. I think the online experience for me is the most practical environment due to my work load and the family care situation. Being able to study online give me a different perspective on education and have the chance to learn even more tha being in a life classroom where most of the classes can be lost in material and coments that are not part of the class. My entire experience in the online education has being 100% effective and will continue getting my education through the online method.

I really love the fact that I can take courses at my convenience. The professors are accessible and work with you one on one when problems occur. The only thing I dislike is group projects. It is difficult to do on campus, let alone online. Other than that everyone is great from the advisers to tech support.

Degree: Higher Education
Graduation Year: 2012

The faculty was great. They were always accessible if you needed them. My only problem is the degree doesn't fit what other colleges are looking for in faculty. My degree was in higher education-college teaching and learning, but it was to general. Colleges are looking for 18 graduate hours in something specific to teach at the college level. I think Kaplan should offer degrees that are more subject specific.

Great programs, great professors who worked with students to make sure they understood the course and work. Did not like the ebooks but got used to them by getting a second laptop to read them. Enjoyed all the professors and classes.
