I would have to say the pros include meeting different students that have similar experience or more experience in one area. The cons would be the student life is different.

Kaplan University Online is a very demanding program. This program allows the student to work from the comfort of their own home with access to all coursework and their professors. A person must be very motivated and determined to do such a program. I enjoy my coursework at Kaplan; it allows me to work and I do school work at night or on the weekend. I love the flexibility and being able to set my own schedule and pace. The people who work for Kaplan are very helpful and friendly, they all want to see the student succeed.

Overal it is a good program. A bit expensive and communication can be minimal from time to time.

As I attend online some of your questions are not relevent to me, and as I have been to Davenport Iowa I have answered anyway. I just finished my 2nd class and found both classes very information, containing a lot of research and the instructors were available 24/7 to us. As a matter of fact, I was working on some things last night and my intructor called m at 10:00 p.m. to see how things were going. Every person I have worked with has been exceptional at thier job. The only con I see is when we have weekly online classes, many times the technology used does not always work correctly.

Kaplan University is a great school if you definitely know what you want to pursue for your future career. I would strongly advise anyone who is trying to advance their career or increase their existing knowledge within their career to attend Kaplan due to their knowledgable staff and in-depth curriculum's they have. It is a GREAT school!!!

I think that the MBA is a good program. The teachers, however, don't communicate effectively often and that often frustrates me. When students are confused on assignments, they tend to just give them the instructions over again instead of further justifying them. The grading system takes awhile. I think the workload is about right, but the schedule needs to be sunday - Saturday. There should be optional lectures.

The pros would have to be the convenience of online classes. The cons would be if networks issues were extensive

The instructors have real life experience which makes them very credible when they are explaining theories and issues. The instructors want you to succeed, and very available to help me with any areas of concern I have.
