I am an online student, campus life is not applicable towards me, so the ratings for transportation, surrounding area, social life and campus safety are not relevant. Overall my academic career at Kaplan University has been very rewarding. I have been blessed with professors who are knowledgeable and take time out for each student. The smaller class sizes are a plus. The only con about any online school is not having actual face to face contact with peers and the professor but technology makes up for it and it always helps to have a professor who goes above and beyond

Overall a positive experience. Disability services & financial aid could use some work.

Kaplan University Online offers a lot of great classes and professors. Online allows you to be able to keep your busy life going and still have time for school around your schedule.

The ultimate pro is that I go to class when I want to, at the pace I pretty much want to go, and can wear what ever I want. The staff have been very knowledgeable.

The pros of the graduate program are that there is flexibility and ease of use. I really enjoy taking classes online with Kaplan because I can still have a life and I love that I don't have to actually attend a physical classroom.

The pro of Kaplan University is that it is a great university and I would like to finish my graduate degree with them, but it's sometime hard to get in contact with the assigned academic adviser.

I really like the online program because it fits my schedule. I don't have to travel to classrooms and I can complete assignments and exams when convenient for me. I don't like the fact that it may take longer for a professor to provide feedback.

I like Kaplan but the only issue I have is with the financial aid department. Not everyone is on the same page

The cons are that some employers may not recognize this program. However, the faculty is great and the online classes are great.

The great things about my graduate school were the availability of professors, other faculty and resources necessary to be successful online. A somewhat downside that can occur at any online school is the lack of motivation of students in assisting with group projects. There are however the flexibility in comparison to traditional schools where students are able to work at their own pace. The program I was in was intense but it was worth it. I think that the admission process was simple and occurred smoothly. The tutorial for the online class was not hard to follow and there was help every step of the way to get acclimated to the virtual classroom and discussion forums. Consistency, determination and time managements skills were a must to succeed.
