Kaplan University has made it possible for me to complete my Bachelors and working on completing my Master's degree while still working full time and being a full time single mom. Teachers are wonderful and I could not have gotten this far with my education if it were not for online degrees.

Degree: Management
Graduation Year: 2013

Kaplan University's graduate program allowed me to continue working full time, and be a full time student. The online platform is convenient, and the instructors are ready to help students achieve their academic best.

Pros: Accessibility, Very nice and knowledgeable professors, easy support from Academic Counselors. Cons: Financial Aid is a pain to deal with and very late with education expense loans and responding on time. Changed up application and now will not give out education expense loans and limit what you can request. Education is very good but they offer no built-in certification programs or testing for their extreme high cost of tuition. They offer testing help at an ADDITIONAL EXPENSE THAT IS NOT COVERED BY LOANS. Half the classes in the graduate program have you buy books and online virtual programs and they really do not use them at all. I feel like I am not getting a quality education with the cost of education I am paying which is high. Still love the school and my degree was fast but they need to offer certification like Western Governors University.

Very flexible, easy to get in touch with someone for advising/technology help, instructors answer questions within 24 hours and are willing to help.

Degree: Social Sciences
Graduation Year: 2012

I liked the fact that instructor communicated the information from the real world standpoint and were able to teach the material citing their own experiences. The one con is that the information delivered was online solely so communication was all internet based, so sometimes questions and answer were delayed a little.

My graduate program is online so many of the above questions I could not answer. My program is wonderful it is interactive, interesting and well planned out. My professors are always available and respond back to questions and emails promptly. I have interacted with people all across the United States and have enjoyed learning about their goals and experiences. Master of Science in Health Education program is extremely valuable especially with the rise of chronic diseases all around us. I hope to gain a solid foundation from my course work and make a difference in the public sector.
