Degree: Counseling

I do not like the financial aid department because everyone in my opinion is not all knowledgeable about financial aid and packaging.

Degree: Higher Education

The higher education program is great. I have learned so much information that can be readily applied. The professors are very supportive. They provide their phones, emails and even twitter accounts in case we need them. The enrollment process was very easy. My educational advisor is very supportive. The financial aid aspect was very easy to complete. The workload is intense but to be expected by a grad program.

Kaplan has wonderful staff that are very accessible but the only problem is they are very expensive. Financial aid did not inform me that I could apply for scholarships or how to do so. My friend at work informed me of this website.

Degree: Writing

This is an online course so some of the categories didn't apply. I have been enrolled in Kaplan University for over a year now and I love it. The professors are very interactive and the content has been very valuable. I would recommend this school to anyone and everyone.

I would have to say the pros include meeting different students that have similar experience or more experience in one area. The cons would be the student life is different.

Kaplan University Online is a very demanding program. This program allows the student to work from the comfort of their own home with access to all coursework and their professors. A person must be very motivated and determined to do such a program. I enjoy my coursework at Kaplan; it allows me to work and I do school work at night or on the weekend. I love the flexibility and being able to set my own schedule and pace. The people who work for Kaplan are very helpful and friendly, they all want to see the student succeed.

Overal it is a good program. A bit expensive and communication can be minimal from time to time.
