The pros are the abilty to compete with other graduate students and the cons are the cost of my education.

The online program allows the individual to work on-line 24/7 and there is plenty of support when needed.

Very flexible, easy to get in touch with someone for advising/technology help, instructors answer questions within 24 hours and are willing to help.

I liked the fact that instructor communicated the information from the real world standpoint and were able to teach the material citing their own experiences. The one con is that the information delivered was online solely so communication was all internet based, so sometimes questions and answer were delayed a little.

My graduate program is online so many of the above questions I could not answer. My program is wonderful it is interactive, interesting and well planned out. My professors are always available and respond back to questions and emails promptly. I have interacted with people all across the United States and have enjoyed learning about their goals and experiences. Master of Science in Health Education program is extremely valuable especially with the rise of chronic diseases all around us. I hope to gain a solid foundation from my course work and make a difference in the public sector.

Hello, The program that I am currently enrolled in has excellent professors. The curriculum is beneficial for my goals that I’m currently pursuing. However, the financial service department leaves a lot to be desired. Every term something is out of order and it takes several calls and emails to correct the issue. It has been necessary that I call every 10 week term for the past year and a half to correct issues. In addition, every financial service representative has different information. This has been quite disheartening due to the fact that I am a mother of 10, full time employee, full time student, along with medical conditions and the mis-information in very frustrating. If it wasn’t for the caring, competent instructors, I would have left this university a long time ago. A scholarship would be extremely helpful at this point in my life. It will enable me to complete my studies, graduate, and move on to my doctorate degree.

The advisors are great in terms of reminding the students about enrollment, financial aids and all, but most of the teacher are not on the same page as the syllabus. they are far behind which makes it quite of difficult to follow, and when you try reaching them, OMG, it takes them forever to respond baack.

Kaplan is a great school. The online setup of graduate studies works well with any lifestyle! The programs are structured for success and the instructors truly care for the students in the "classroom" and are easily accessible!!

I extremely enjoy the graduate program. Interaction with my Professors on discussion boards are very educational. The work load can be heavy at times, but nothing that can not be managed correctly by using time managment skills. All Professors respond in a timely manner. One con is that we do not have weekly seminars in the program and I feel they would be a large benefit.
