Graduation Year: 2016

The Pros of my program is that I am able to complete my Masters degree from any location since I am an online student. The Con of my program is that I do not receive enough in financial aid so I cannot focus solely on my studies.

The pros about the graduate program at Kaplan 1) is it's all online, easy to access and the support staff is attentive. 2) A master's program gives one more choices to find better jobs that pays more. 3)It also gives a competitive edge on getting promotions. 4) Finally, it gives better job security, The cons 1) master's program aren't funded. It is difficult to pay unless one applies for scholarships or obtain a student loan, which is difficult to pay back once the credit has occurred. 2) It takes an additional three years of study to complete the program.

Degree: Nursing
Graduation Year: 2015

I love Kaplan's online Nurse Practitioner program because of the flexibility I am offered in planning study time, preparing for tests, and even finding and scheduling clinical time. I selected Kaplan because of their invaluable test preparation and outstanding results in nursing education This program is consistent with my expectations. Advisors and support staff are always helpful when I call to discuss any issue, including payments. They have been flexible with payment amounts and dates, necessary for me to continue in my educational journey. Kaplan has accredited nurse practitioner programs as confirmed by the ANCC. This is required to sit for the nurse practitioner boards. In addition, the test questions are written in the format of the boards, allowing you test prep throughout the program. I have referred many nurses to the Kaplan program as a fiscally responsible program for continuing education.

Graduation Year: 2014

You take the bad with the good with this program. Some of the professors are excellent and really engage the students in discussions to make sure you get the most out of this educational opportunity. The other staff is not always as accommodating. The financial aid staff is extremely slow in processing paperwork and getting your funding in order. Back to the course work, it is difficult and taxing but it is enough to make you learn as long as you do the research required.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2016

I have just started my online education. Pros are the flexibility to work full time and attend classes at home. The only drawback is not having the interaction of an on campus class room and not getting to do campus activities. However at age 45 I would rather just take my classes online and you have to be dedicated to take online classes.

Degree: Psychology
Graduation Year: 2017

I am an online student and I love how the classes are done. I like that we have 10 weeks in our courses. This school gives skills that will help me in my career. As an online student, I don't get to socialize much; however, this is a worthy sacrifice.
