"Everyone at the school is very helpful...that is if you're just enrolling or thinking about enrolling here. Once you're enrolled no one seems to ever want to help you. Keller and Devry are merging and the Dept of Education is not making distributions. With that being said I would look for another school where the government isn't being hesitant on merging these two schools. You can not get your credit or anytime of loan advancement. The teachers are a joke. You're better off going somewhere locally. Don't waste your time or money."

"This is my third Masters' degree from Keller so obviously I think the school has a worthwile product to offer students. I've been associated with Keller either as an alumni or a student for 13 years. What I'm providing is an honest assesment. The school has positives and negatives. The negatives include the office staff and the caliber of students. If you encounter any type of problem such as scheduling, a billing issue, transcript request, expect a hassle. The office/professional staff are totally incompetent. My tuition was 100% paid for by my company and I still had issues with the finance office. I would receive letters stating my financial aid was revoked and I never even received financial aid. As previous posters suggested, some students simply don't care. Since most of the degree programs are collaborative in nature, this impacts those students who are serious about their education. The positves include the curriculum. I work in technology and I'm able to take course material immediately from the classroom to the workplace. The concept of terminal course objectives easily defines the skills students will obtain after completing the course. During my 13 years of being associated with the school, I only had one professor that didn't have sufficient relevent experience in the subject matter he was teaching. I have three Masters degrees so I easily have had over 30 classes. Despite the few challenged individuals that managed to get a degree, the majority of the student learners are bright and bring valuable insight to classroom discussions. Many of the inviduals I matriculated with are still in my network. All and all, this is a school for people with clearly defined goals. It provides students with fundanmental skills to become business and technology professionals. This is not a research university, it is a school that helps students excel in their place of employment. I have benefited from the practical nature of this education."

"What you get out an any MBA is up to the student, if you put the time, effort and concentration in, you will gain tools, knowledge and insight into the career you are choosing. However I would WARN any student who is considering enrolling in Keller, instead of here look to spend you thousands of hard earned $$ somewhere else. During my program I found that professors will not/can not fail students. I guess this is great for this individual's who don't care about their time, money or quality of educational experience. But for the rest of us that value these things GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This school is a for-profit business and it is run as such. While the administrative staff and some teachers care and are involved with and care about students, not all do and with Keller closing locations I can not imagine that all their staff is as invested as the individual's that I worked with. Because of Keller's business practices the quality of their degree will be decreasing in the following years, so research all your options before settling on Keller."

"Every instructor I had in technology, information security, and systems management were highly accredited professionals with prestigious organizations that would provide mentorship if asked. The curriculum hobbles the instructors, who must teach from the prescribed materials, but all in all the material really provides the framework for the first class scholarly discussions -- the real source of learning in the masters programs. I am in the military, and the instructors were extremely flexible if I had lenghthy patrols scheduled that would require short absences. Administration, however, needs a lot of work at this school. At campus locations, most employees work without supervision and are student workers that have only a very basic understanding of their duties. The same people that support some technical services are different than other technical services, sometimes resulting in trouble tickets being answered with comments like "not my job, contact your school again so they can tell you whose job it is." Student finance was unhelpful in working through financial aid requirements, saying they only process it, not assist in helping us prepare required documents. My job placement advisor would send me announcements advertising for a dentist or a warehouse stock person, even though my degree was in information systems security. Job placement services were so distracting, I had to make several attempts to get them to stop sending me spam job announcements. For education, Keller is top notch, and the online professors I found even more competent than some of the brick-and-mortar institutions I attended. Have an administrative problem though, and expect some consternation. This university is for a go getter student, if you are lazy and can't overcome minor set backs, Keller is not for you."

"I attend Keller at the Philadelphia campus and I've had a mix of experiences. Financial aid at the campus is awful. My "conusltant" doesn't consult. He e-mails me days, sometimes weeks, after I ask a question and never answers his phone. I leave messages but they never get returned. I won't use his name because that's mean but he's terrible. The "coach" there is really nice. She helps answer all of my questions and in a very timely manner. When I have issues with getting in touch with financial aid guy she helps me quickly and always gets the answers I need. She is my consultant and my coach.Keller has some good instructors but not all so I urge you to be careful. Online options are okay but some classes should be taken at the school. Overall, I'd recommend the school at Philadelphia. I can't wait to graduate this year!"

"Keller seems to pick up their online instructors wherever they can find them. I have been enrolled in ten classes, and eight of them had very lazy and/or incompetent instructors who did the bare minimum. I get the distinct impression that these instructors are using their Keller jobs as a source of supplemental income. They simply have not contributed to the learning process. My current instructor is very condescending, arrogant, and lazy. Only after grading assignments does he provide the grading criteria. He marks up the papers indicating what he was looking for. He is very subjective. He is also intransigent and refuses to reconsider any grades that he has already assigned.Another unfortunate fact with Keller-online is that there is no single point of contact assigned as your personal student adviser. Instead, when you call student resources, you get whoever is on duty, and they type up your questions / concerns. If a follow-up is involved, you won't get the same person contacting you. Translated: runaround. No one seems to care."

"I found Keller Graduate School Of Management in Atlanta(Buckhead), Ga was very hard in the beginning for a student that has been out of school for a while, but once I got back into the grove of things I found it very nice. The classes was very well put together and delivered by instructors that are knowledgeable in their subjects,IE Accountants(CPA,CFA,CMA) taught accounting courses,These instructors held day jobs in these fields and worked at Keller at night. So your learning experience was more practical, with examples of real world situations and current knowledge of the industry or class of interest. The old saying does not apply at Keller, Doers; do and the rest teach. They are doing every day what they are teaching you. And for Accounting/Financial professionals, the most important factors is how proficient are you? You do not want to be an Accountant that do not understand and can apply your craft or you will be unemployed..With Accounting "theory" will help you pass a class but "application" will help you land and keep a job."

"I am in the Air Force and stationed in Japan. I have had a phenomenal experience working with the Keller Staff to meet all of my needs. The classes are great and I am learning a lot. I get the help that I need from the professors even though I am stationed overseas via phone or e-mail."

"First of all not everyone who leaves a good reviews works for the school. I have never worked for DeVry and have zero plans too. I finished my Masters and Bachelors through DeVry/Keller. When I signed up I expected it would cost me a lot but I did my research before hand. What happen to people research a school independently without replying on a school adviser? Before I even signed up I knew what my school loans would be around. I didn't take out any excessive loans that would put me higher in debt and I kept on top of my own finances, just in case of billing errors. As for the classes, some were not as challenging as other because of my previous knowledge of certain subjects; This is NOT their fault. Yes, sometime I had an easier professor then other but that was rare. I had teachers tearing apart my work and grading me based on my efforts. Which is great because it made me worked harder. Even with access to online material, I still had to work for my grade; it's not easy. If you aren't learning anything in DeVry then your not taking advantage of all of their learning sources. I could have learned more if I read all my books straight through but that is my own fault. I am not saying that everything is golden here because I did run into a professor that wasn't very respectable and probably was in the wrong profession but that was one out of 6 years there.Lastly, as for job placement service. I never had to uses this service because I can sell myself. Anyone complaining about this service, needs to take personal responsibility. What happen to traditional job hunting and selling yourself at an interview? Company's aren't going to hire you because you have a degree; they want someone who believes in themselves and fits their needs.People need to take personal responsibility for their loans and their career hunting and not look for a free ride. This is a amazing school, if you put the effort into it."

"I have both positive and negative experiences while attending Keller Graduate School of Management. Keller Graduate School is a business where things are measured by quantitative performance. Like any other school you are just a customer. Some professors are top notch and others are less than what you would expect. Too many times, I have been the unfortunate member of classes providing the instructors on the job training, instructors who are there for the paycheck, or instructors who are there for their own agenda.Like the individual stated in other comments. "This is your education!""

"Keller is a very good school. The teachers are excellent. Last semester I had two Doctors for both of my classes. I'm actually in the process of getting another Master’s Degree at Keller. Many people drop out. Normally those that complain are the ones that did not get the grades, or ran into some sort of tuition problem after they were not responsible. If you look at the statistics there is a low graduation rate. This is because many do not have the discipline to study on their own."

"The class began well. I knew it was going to be a challenge because I am not an "accounting" person. However, we abruptly had an instructor change in week 4, and all previous grades were reset. Yes, reset! So we started over in week 4 of an 8 week course. Then everything went into overdrive, with information being thrown at us at such a pace that NO ONE could keep up. Instead of offering to provide extra classes, or some type of compensatory allowances, we blazed right through the course with the school having one thing in mind...keep the school's pass rate up, with no regard to the student's having learned any semblance of accounting knowledge. In the end NO ONE, repeat NO ONE received less than a grade of "C" despite most, if not all of us having failed in-class exams and the final. Now, these are supposed to be graduate-level classes, meaning you're intending to use the gained knowledge to benefit you in some way, shape, or form on your current or future job. The knowledge gained is to be careful what you ask for at a for-profit school.Just be aware of the level of execution in the class you're taking, and don't hesitate to complain if you are in any way dissatisfied... remember, it's YOUR education you're protecting. One compliment: there are some very good instructors there, notably Dr. A. He's excellent."

"The course work has been inspiring and the teachers are among the best. Different from a traditional college, the teachers have been some of the top leaders in their field of education. Real world classes and not the old tradition lecture approach."

"Keller is a JOKE. I recently decided to go back to school after a long hiatus to complete my MBA that I had started with them in 2007 and never finished. Lo and behold I find out after one semester back in school that I was actually on academic probation and to be removed from probation I had to get a certain G.P.A. which was IMPOSSIBLE to achieve since the one class they let me take was a pass/fail course. After explaining my story to the "counselor" I was told to document why I didn't finish the first time, turn in supporting documentation and I'd be fine. Not such a huge thing but the reason I didn't finish the first time was because I was busy at life and small children etc. How the heck do you document life?So I write the memo, turn it in and get told that it was disapproved because I didn't raise my GPA enough ... we go back to the first part of it was a PASS/FAIL class and they wouldn't let me take anything else. Keller will take your money then dismiss you or expect you to meet impossible standards."

"My degree with DeVry, Keller Graduate has been an administrative nightmare. Getting basic questions answered by administration is like jumping through hoops and dealing with ignorant temporary workers. As well, the curriculum does not match its price tag. The professors in many cases were half witted lazy inefficient check collectors. I can name 6 classes that I have taken where the Professors did nothing but read from a PowerPoint. Also, follow up of graded assignments was extremely difficult. You expect that if your paying $2280 per class that you would get USC, UCLA, or an ivy league school education. Well that is a fallacy.I am not sure how other campuses are ran but I would definitely not suggest you attending Pomona, CA Keller Graduate program."

"I have taken a number of classes online from Keller and I can say that like any school you only get out of it what you put in. I would recommend Keller for someone like me that needs to take online classes due to the amount of international travel that I do. I also have 20 years of working experience and I am not looking for a job. I really went back to school to get my MBA as more of an insurance policy and to learn more. I think Keller provides the right tools and instructors to learn. I have also enjoyed the classmates in each course, each from different industries and backgrounds."

"Ended up quitting. This place was the bane of my existence. Tried transferring after 1 year, and a real university would only take 2-3 of those courses I took. Student services is a joke. I never got a call back from my "student success coach", my first one quit, and the dean was kind of a dink. They will rob you blind at this school. I suggest you stay away."

"Stay away from this school. Their admin is pathetic. Their instructors are non-responsive. The only people who respond are the survey folks, and they won't leave you alone.I have had multiple issues. I've been registered for classes I didn't ask for. I've been billed directly when there was student aid. I've been sent bills when the bill has already been paid. I was in a course where the instru...ctor didn't say anything for 3 weeks (in an 8 week course.)I've had instructors take 4 weeks to grade homework or respond to questions (again, an 8 week course.) Most recently I was told I would have an e-book for a class, but lo-and-behold, when class started only hard-copies are available. Thus I have to wait for the bookstore to ship the books (I'm an online student). I get to start the class a week behind because these people don't know what they are doing."

"I wanted my masters degree in accounting and found the Keller MAFM program was most affordable. I did my due diligence beforehand and made sure I understood the structure of the program before I began. My employer paid part of my tuition and I had loans for the remainder. Overall I had a great experience, I have stayed in touch with others form the program and having the degree is a help in getting promoted where I work. As I said, overall a good experience."

"At first, my experience at DeVry was pleasant. The recruiter was honest, and she worked very hard for me, to ensure my issues were resolved quickly. The fact that I had so many issues should have been a red flag for me. They continued throughout my entire program.I took all of my classes online, which was very good for me, with a busy work and life schedule; however the resources available to online students are not up to University standards. I had many problems with my transferred credits, and I was hassled for payment, even though I was paying on time, and more than the minimum (out of pocket). The biggest problem occurred when I was placed in a course for which I had not taken the prerequisite course - this resulted in much frustration on my part, not being able to understand the material. Eventually, DeVry dropped me from the course, in the seventh week (courses run 8 weeks), just before the Final exam was due. One good note for DeVry would be that they did apply the money paid for the course, so I didn't have to pay to take it twice, since it was their mistake placing me in the first place. If you are looking for a school which will support your needs, and cause you little stress, avoid DeVry University."
