"The Professional Counseling program is challenging and thought-provoking. The program offers a wide range of classes and the professors are very helpful. However, the location of the school may be considered in a dangerous area."

"La Salle University is a great college to attend. The location is amazing, there are so many things to do in Philadelphia and transportation is easily accessible. My program has really interesting and challenging courses that apply exactly to the knowledge I need for after I graduate and am working in the field. For internships, there are tons of places La Salle is associated with that get you interviews over other candidates. The Marriage and Family program is competitive but everyone still gets along and works well together. However, my program is not very tech-savvy. Our professors use videos, keep up to date with emails, and Blackboard for powerpoints and other information we need, however, the classrooms are outdated. Scholarships and financial aid makes going to La Salle affordable and lets dreams come true!"

"I am a Clinical Psychology student and ever since I walked into the Psychology Department Office for my interview, I felt at home. The faculty are experts in a vast array of areas within the field and are able to provide my classmates and I with the valuable training that makes us, as a program and as professionals, the future forerunners of Psychology. Furthermore, a large portion of the faculty are involved in what the La Salle Psy.D. program calls "Self Care". This group produces a newsletter called "Take Care News" which speaks to the importance of taking care of oneself while pursuing a graduate degree. It is clear the faculty are dedicated to both the professional and personal development of their students and their efforts are shown through the success of La Salle's alumnis. Because La Salle is a small private school, funding for latest technologies in every building is limited. As a graduate student, I would this to change so that La Salle's students are able to better access materials needed for school, socializing, and self-care."

"La Salle University's Counseling and Family Therapy Program provides excellent training and preparation for the field. The faculty are very knowledge and available to students for advice not only about course work but future opportunities once you graduate."

"I have not been in the graduate program for a very long time, but so far I can already tell it is going to be very challenging and time-demanding. The teachers are fairly old for the most part but they do attempt to make the classes somewhat interesting. The workload is just very heavy."

"I'm currently a first year grad student at La Salle University (major: Comm-PR). So far, my overall experience within the program has been rewarding. The faculty, staff and my fellow students are all welcoming and more than willing to offer a hand. I am enjoying my studies at La Salle and can confidently say, I made the right choice."

"The professors are skilled, knowledgeable and committed. They make use of varied and interesting readings and stimulate good class discussions. Most classes meet at night and serve a working, commuter population. Despite this, classes are collegial and students connect to help each other with research and general encouragement."

"La Salle is a good school, however I found there course selection limited as it does not over anything on sustainability or corporate social responsibility. Also transferring credits is a headache as is with most university. However, since they do not offer courses in sustainability or CSR they should be more flexible in meeting the students needs."

"The pros is that you are enriched with knowledge, able to communicate with others, increases understanding of the world, one can be able to help other people. One is more proficient and effective, equipped and trained for challenging world. It would also increases financial security. The cons are that it is expensive, takes time, and effort. Unless you are willing to work hard, you can not succeed."

"The Health Sciences Graduate Programs at La Salle University are composite of individual support from professors, benefits of small classroom sizes, and enriched course material. Though the location and transportation options of the University itself are less than ideal, it is a small deficit to La Salle's overall dedication to a wholesome education that remains its ultimate mission."
