Some of the pros include knowledgeable professors, a loving Christian environment, and a commitment to truth. Some of the cons are a lack of faculty, and a lengthy program requirement.

Degree: Marketing

Overall, this is an amazing school. You have to fight for grants and scholarships, take out as few loans as you can but either way, it's worth it!

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2015

My graduate experience thus far has been a amazing journey. I love that the professors are very personable and are willing to personally contact you to let you know that they have made changes to their class time etc. I enjoy that the class size is no more then 20 students and that the professors are always willing to help. The only issue with my program is that there is only one professor/instructor for my major courses. Although, I would have liked to gain a variety of perspectives regarding HR, instead of just one, the good thing about is I will grow a closeness with my professor.

Degree: Human Resources
Graduation Year: 2016

I wished I was advised more on the courses I took prior to registration. I am struggling badly. But I am going to tough it out because the teachers here are awesome.

Degree: English
Graduation Year: 2012

While La Sierra University is a small school, the wealth of knowledge contained within its English Department rivals that of other top universities. The professors are very accessible, and the best thing about the M.A. English program is that the faculty are our mentors. I had the opportunity to study under a prominent Tolkien scholar, and I will cherish the information I gleaned as I move on in my education and career. The price tag for the private institution is expensive, but the close-knit academic atmosphere and the mentors gained in the faculty more than compensate for it.

Degree: MBA
Graduation Year: 2014

The graduate program at the business school is majorly the MBA program and they have concentration in over five disciplines. These are Finance, Accounting, Human resource management, Marketing , General management and the Customized MBA. Overall, the program is undertaken by quality staff and experienced faculty in their respective areas of discipline. Their blend of classroom learning and hand on practical experience is excellent. I will always recommend the school for any student that wishes to have a degree in MBA.
