"The only thing I got out of this university is a $30k student loan that I can't afford to pay. Also, I wasn't aware that there were two types of computer science degrees until graduation when I found out mine was a BACHELOR OF ARTS not a BACHELOR OF SCIENCE. Didn't help me get a job so now I'm a truck driver with a computer science degree. Courses weren't relative to the technology being used in the real world. Don't waste your money, go to a tech school or a UW school."

"Instructors in the MA Counseling program have been good/great. But they are all adjuncts so the school has trouble attracting and retaining, and very few have PhD. The MAC program is disorganized and badly-run and it's hard to avoid driving all over the state to get the required classes. Administration and advising staff provide little-to-no support in finding internships or resolving problems. Program claims to be pursuing CACREP accreditation but for two years has not sent in the application. Communication about important things (CACREP, changes to semester length, upcoming meetings) is nonexistent. Recently internship requirements were silently changed after the semester started and program director didn't inform students, but asked instructors to do so. This program is not a good value and really problematic for working adults. You will likely find promised advantages (flexibility, format of classes, accreditation) don't materialise. Advice: find a CACREP-accredited program elsewhere."

"My instructors have been excellent and overall the program is good however be aware the "BlendEd" is not really a thing. There have been zero courses offered via BlendEd for the Clinical Counseling program. Although they touted BlendEd to me during recruitment as a big selling point over other schools and programs, once I got two semesters into my program I discovered that everyone has to literally drive to other cities to take the required classes because they don't use the BlendEd at all despite having the equipment in every classroom. There have been several classes which definitely required real-time interaction but all of which could have been conducted via the BlendEd video streaming. I can't describe how badly this has impacted my ability to complete the program as quickly as they promised. If you're a working adult, be prepared to drive all over the state at night to compile the credits you'll need to complete this program."

"Lakeland College was a warm and inviting institution that fulfilled all my academic needs. All the professors were involved in the success of each student. Smaller class sizes showed that we were more than just someone filling a seat. As a student athlete I found the curriculum to be challenging but feasible for those who were dedicated to their own success in the classroom."

"This program is focused on nontraditional students and allows for both face to face classes and online learning. Tuition is expensive, but I worked to find ways that would help with the cost such as.scholarships. I would recommend this college to someone else who would be interested in obtaining. Degree in counseling."

"Lakeland is a great school. All the staff are there to help you succeed and will work with you to make sure they are meeting your needs. Classes were small and located in convenient locations and times. I never felt rushed or told what classes to take always guided. The Blend Ed courses are wonderful, they give you the ability to participate in class if you are not able to physically attend. Lakeland was the best choice I could make to complete my education!"

"I am a graduate assistant at the school, which is a full time job. On top of that I have to crunch in the whole program in two years, so it is very demanding and the workload is pretty draining."
