Student & Graduate Reviews

4.75 out of 5.0
Degree: Communications (Journalism & Media)
Graduation Year: 2015

There are some great changes that have taken place recently in my program. The professors are all very approachable and are interested in helping the student understand the material in a way that makes it applicable to real life. The university is interested in developing the whole person and preparing us for the real world.

Degree: Public Health
Graduation Year: 2014

One of the main pros of the Public Health program is that every professor has hands-on experience in the field and, also, is extremely helpful. One con is that it is new so the group in the program now are all guinea pigs. This is also a pro because we are helping to develop a better program. Other pros are that we have a practicum that garners students hands-on experience; we not only have papers and tests but are continuously given opportunities on campus and within the community to help the public health issues; and one is also given online class options in case his or her schedule doesn't fit the residential classes.

Degree: History
Graduation Year: 2014

Liberty University offers a competitive academic program in history that prepares its students for doctoral work. However, this degree does not provide the best launch pad for getting into doctoral programs. It is excellent for learning American History particularly the American Revolution. Yet, if you hope to study any other part of American history or other history (European or World) they simply do not have the faculty to credibly teach those subjects for graduate work.

Degree: Law
Graduation Year: 2013

Liberty University is a very unique school. As I reached the end of my undergraduate career, it was one of the hardest things to do to leave that gorgeous campus. I love the faculty's availability for tutoring and efficient teaching methods as well as the loving atmosphere. It is my hope to return there for my graduate career.
