The program is very flexible in terms of when I can log in and a timeline for my assignments. Also, my professors share my views on faith and religion which has helped me develop a stronger sense of faith. Some of the professors do have lower expectations of students than others do, and those courses are not as challenging as the courses in which the professor has high expectations of all students.

Liberty University is an awesome school because the staff is always available! Every one is on one accord and really care about the students! The only thing I recommend is that young people do not get in relationship because that can be a huge distraction.

Excellent school, however, there were times when their political affiliation came out. They clearly are a right wing, fundamentalist school.

The pros of the online graduate program was the flexibility to do work on your own time and the professors were always willing to reach out and available for questions and concerns. The cons is being disciplined and organized to schedule your own time to do the work,

Liberty University's graduate program for online students is convenient for busy adults who cannot attend school on campus. The professors are always willing to answer my questions and pray for me when I'm faced with personal difficulties. My fellow classmates are from diverse backgrounds and their views help to broaden mine on certain issues. My graduate program has been a positive experience for me.

As an military spouse, mother and grad school student Liberty has been by and far the best program I could ever imagine. The professors truly care about their students!

Degree: Curriculum & Instruction
Graduation Year: 2015

Pros: All online, so no need to physically go to the campus; complete coursework around my schedule; split schedule for grad work so I can focus on one class at a time and still be considered a full-time student Cons: Harder to ask questions than in person; must depend on professor to answer emails to get answers; must rely on classmates completing their assignments on time to complete my assignments since many assignments require responding to a classmate's submission

Degree: School Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

Liberty University has continued to impressed me since I was first accepted in 2013. They were able to give me a chance to continue my education when I thought that I had very limited options. Because I take both online and intensive (on-campus) courses, my lower scores, I feel, are more reflective of my limited experiences and access to "social life", "affordability of living", and the "surrounding area". However, the quality of education, and the consideration of the professors are key factors that have made me feel very comfortable with my decision to attend Liberty. The on-campus courses are a completely different classroom experience from what I have ever had before. My professors thus far have been amazing instructors and have never shown a lack of compassion. It is truly a very open, supportive, and wonderful community to be a part of!

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2012

Liberty university's Professional Counseling degree program has assisted in become a great counselor. My career path enhanced when I completed this degree. It has benefited me in becoming not only a counselor, but also a clinical supervisor, and mentor towards others within the field. The pros outweighed some of the cons which was limited support that is provided during the internship. This should be a course that is provided on-campus, as an intensive course. Other than that, it was a great experience!
