"The Gerontology program gave dimension to the area I wanted to pursue. It made me aware of the dynamics of the aging process, the existence of ageism inside and outside of the healthcare field. It also confirmed the need for people like myself who are advocates for seniors and their right to a quality of life. The program was a quarter program earning 9 credits per quarter. The reading and writing were a bit extensive but for me that was understandable. For the most part the professors were accessible off campus for questions and concerns. I did feel that some of the books we were required to buy did not get used as much as I thought they should be. There was networking available to expose students to the field, providers and agencies. We were required to visit communities on our own then contrast and compare services. There were onslaughts of speakers who came and gave students invaluable information and offered their support after graduation. Jobs were periodically circulated in our field. Overall I thought it was an excellent experience and would recommend it to others. I continued on for a second Masters in Communication and my goal is to obtain my doctorate."

"College is a necessity at this time to find a good paying job or to do what you love and be legit It can be very expensive so plan accordingly--find a career path early on and look into costs as well as reimbursement programs. Work in the field you're going into the make sure you like what you're going to do and sometimes those employers will help to pay the costs of schooling."

"Good for the program I was in, very tough program. Lax in some of the other programs at that time, especially if related to sports."

"My currently degree program is going great. I will be finished with my graduate program in a year. My classes are 9 weeks so it goes pretty fast but you learn a lot. I rather be in a class for 9 weeks versus 16 weeks. I am a inspiring CPA striving for excellence."

"Overall, the business program here at Lindenwood is great. The graduate courses are 9 weeks long, and can be taken online or in class. You can earn your degree quickly and at an affordable price compared to other adjacent schools in the area. The toughest part is powering through a 4 hour class after a long work day, but it is worth it. Professors are more than willing to assist the students in any way possible. I recommend Lindenwood University to others looking to pursue a graduate degree!"

"I met a ton of great people on campus who are now life long friends. I felt the faculty truly cared about my success. I did feel I had a lot of questions throughout my coursework and student teaching. The professors either tried to answer my question or found the answer after I emailed them. Overall, great school!"

"Lindenwood University is a great school for any type of degree you are pursuing in any stage of life. The faculty are highly qualified individuals and are not only great networking tools, but can become great mentors throughout your career. I have had a full and fun experience at Lindenwood as I was very involved in an array of organizations that taught me great leadership skills and great life lessons. There is so much to be learned in so many different ways at Lindenwood, you just have to have the willingness to learn."

"Lindenwood University is one of the only institutions in the St. Louis, Missouri area that offers a Master's degree in character education. Many school districts throughout the country are recognizing the need for character development. Lindenwood's program offers practical, research based content to prepare current and future teachers to develop and lead character education programs in their schools. The classes are flexible; the university offers on campus, online, and hybrid classes that fit students' busy schedules. Overall, Lindenwood University prepares graduates for work in their field and offers courses many other universities don't offer."

"Lindenwood University is a quality program to gain your Master's degree, at least in the business school. The classes and workload are set up to be achievable while also maintaining or looking for a full time position. Some classes are more difficult, but the majority are manageable with some being downright easy. The teachers do care about the students' success and I have not run into a teacher who was "mean". As for the network portion, majority of the professors come from a professional background with many continuing their full time jobs while teaching in the evening. Network programs are not set-up already, but if you take the initiative there are nice resources to take advantage of. I actually got my brother a job interview for a financial analyst position through one of my professors."

The University offers various hours and locations that take into account the schedule of graduate students. The instructors are mainly professionals in the field of study they teach and offer both knowledge and experience."

"I enjoyed being close to home but living on campus. The professors are very knowledgeable and fair but strict to teach you how to survive in the real world after graduation. The campus is so beautiful and lively. I also enjoyed sharing the campus with so many different ethnicities because I think learning other cultures is very interesting. There's a strip down by the river with bars and restaurants very close to campus for the partier and there's food, grocery stress and gas station within walking distance too. I truly enjoyed my college years at Lindenwood University."

"I loved attending Lindenwood. It was close to home and the size of the school was perfect. It wasn't too big but not too small. The classes were a decent size too...just the right amount of people. I do not like classes were the professor doesn't know your name. Several of the classes and the professors that taught them provided great hands on experience. It got me ready for the real world after I got out of college."

The university utilizes technology throughout the classroom. I love that class sizes are small, allowing you the chance to get know your professors. I am already beginning to network with people that I will be working with in the field. I am thoroughly satisfied with my choice in this school and look forward to becoming an Alumnus."
