The pros of the graduate program is that you are educated and equipped well doing the program. Once I am finished, I believe that I will have obtained a great amount of knowledge that will help me be successful in my future career and goals. The cons of the graduate program is the financial burden that you take on to reach your goal.

The online experience is vibrant. I wish they used technology in a more innovative way. It seems that an online school could develop programs other than Blackboard. The teachers are competent and my classmates have been thoughtful.

The MFA program is the best online program you can get. It has a great mix of literature, craft and workshop classes, which is far superior to other online MFA programs that do not have these options. The faculty is great, as is the program director who is very involved throughout. Tuition is very low compared to other online programs.

Lindenwood University is an excellent choice. I have only had a positive experience thus far in their professional counseling graduate program. The university utilizes technology throughout the classroom. I love that class sizes are small, allowing you the chance to get know your professors. I am already beginning to network with people that I will be working with in the field. I am thoroughly satisfied with my choice in this school and look forward to becoming an Alumnus.

As a writer, this program has stretched me in many ways. The instructors are not only experienced writers themselves, but also skilled at teaching craft to others. The student population, especially amongst the online-courses, is vast and diverse providing an extensive set of view-points and skill-sets.

I believe the LIndenwood University MBA program is an exceptional program for young professionals. The professor are outstanding teachers who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure the success of their students. The network outside of the school for job placement is one that I believe can not be matched. The success rate of students who attend this university is extremely high which is why I chose to pursuit my masters degree at such an institution.

Degree: Secondary Education
Graduation Year: 2015

The education program at Lindenwood University is one of the best in Missouri. There are numerous opportunities for field experiences, plenty of faculty for support, and a large selection of courses and times to choose from. As a non-traditional student, I am currently in an accelerated program that fits my schedule and allows me to gain my teaching certification and MAT degree in only two years.

Degree: Secondary Education
Graduation Year: 2016

The pros of my graduate program in Education far outweigh the cons. The professors are knowledgable and want the students to succeed. We were able to have multiple guest speakers in class, ranging from career advisors to superintendents from the surrounding area. Peer collaboration was encouraged and I have made lasting friendships that will be beneficial for years to come. I have not had many negative experiences at Lindenwood University. I believe the most difficulty that I have encountered has been financially and not having enough direction from the beginning of my program on what my options entail.

Degree: Counseling
Graduation Year: 2016

Lindenwood offers an excellent counseling program. The professors are very dedicated to the educating and mentoring the next generation of counselors. Financial aid is not a hassle to deal with and the university offers various discounts depending on demographic factors. I received a 33% reduction in tuition because I am currently employed in the social services field!
