"The education program at Lindenwood University is one of the best in Missouri. There are numerous opportunities for field experiences, plenty of faculty for support, and a large selection of courses and times to choose from. As a non-traditional student, I am currently in an accelerated program that fits my schedule and allows me to gain my teaching certification and MAT degree in only two years."

"The pros of my graduate program in Education far outweigh the cons. The professors are knowledgable and want the students to succeed. We were able to have multiple guest speakers in class, ranging from career advisors to superintendents from the surrounding area. Peer collaboration was encouraged and I have made lasting friendships that will be beneficial for years to come. I have not had many negative experiences at Lindenwood University. I believe the most difficulty that I have encountered has been financially and not having enough direction from the beginning of my program on what my options entail."

"Lindenwood offers an excellent counseling program. The professors are very dedicated to the educating and mentoring the next generation of counselors. Financial aid is not a hassle to deal with and the university offers various discounts depending on demographic factors. I received a 33% reduction in tuition because I am currently employed in the social services field!"

"Overall, the professors that I have encountered have been highly competent and many have left me feeling enlightened. However, I have had one professor that is incompetent and it has been upsetting that I am spending so much money for education with a teacher that lacks the adequate skills."

"Lindenwood is not a party school if that is what you're looking for! It is definitely education focused but the different clubs and organizations try to have activities that are fun if you actually attend. College is what you make of it! The food is not the best but it is edible. The psychology department is made up of some qualified professionals. They know what they are talking about. Some will be tougher than others but all of them are there to help! I would definitely reccommend Lindenwood to anyone interested!"

"I enjoy the program. I wish that there were more technology being shown within the program of the Masters of Education. I think there needs to be updated technology."

"The pros are definitely that the school has a wonderful MBA program. I liked how they used the European system where they constantly tested the students which caused us to study more and perfect our knowledge. The professors were great and really look for students to gain knowledge. The only con I have is that it is a little pricey, but it is however, a private college."

"I feel the Counseling program at Lindenwood varies depending on what campus you may be attending. The expectations of students is low. To be admitted to the program, you only need to complete the application sheet and submit your transcripts. They do not require letters of recommendation or essays. If you're looking for a program that does not ask much of you as an individual, this is the one for you. I went into the program very positive and knowing I would only be able to take out, what I put in. There's not much to take out of the program no matter how much you put in. This program is not for those who enjoy an academic challenge."

"The graduate program at Lindenwood that I am completing is the Autism K-12. I am one of the first to go through the program and I loved every minute of it. I am actually sad that it's over!! Everything I learned in class I could use the next day at work."

"Being a full time working mother is extremely rewarding but extremely difficult at the same time. Distributing time between my family, work, and school is a constant struggle but Lindenwood University makes it possible through their flexible LCIE program. Classes are only one night a week for 4 hours which gives me plenty of time to spend with my family. Unlike other Universities, Lindenwood offers diversity within their graduate course work. Although I am enrolled in the HR Management program, my course work includes relevant business courses such as marketing and accounting which will be extremely useful for a career in Human Resources. Lindenwood is a private university which leads to higher prices and less availability of financial aid. My experience has been worth every penny so far, but paying private school prices has been my biggest educational struggle. I feel extremely confident that the education I am receiving at Lindenwood University will not only make me a desirable job candidate, but also prepare me to face any future career challenges that I may come up against."

"It is not very competitive to be accepted to the graduate program. The GRE was not required and the application process was fairly easy. My advisor and other faculty members are always willing to help and are easily accessible."
