The Public Administration graduate program at LIU is fantastic! It is small so every one has an opportunity to speak and ask questions. The faculty is highly experienced and gives a lot of insight and perspective into the area of study. However, the school is lacking in technology and does not adequately use its connections to the city, which could serve as a surplus of opportunity.

The program is great so far. After having taken off several years from school due to family illness I was looking for a part time program that would be ease me back into academia, and have a staff and a work load that understood I had a full time job while still being challenging. I got that at LIU, in my very first meeting I explained my expectation for the program and they helped tailor my class schedule around my work and have been very understanding about my needs as an employer and a student. The only down side i have seen so far is that not every professor answers emails, and the parking is far and not well lit. Otherwise my time at LIU has been great and is highly recommended to anyone who is looking to return to school.

I found that LIU is very accommodating to their students and the teachers are there to inspire and guide. The overall environment is friendly. A on can be that the location is not the best but it is still accessible to many people. Overall I love LIU and would suggest it to anyone looking to get a great degree.
